My ability in that has improved so well I already could understand everything you've said Thank you so much for your lessons I've learned a lot from you
I would love to learn the proper pronunciation of the months (and days). You do a great job teaching us how to shape our mouth to get the proper vowel and consonant sound.
Do more vedios like this kru mod this is very easy to understand and intresting to learn this type or vedio is very very useful and lovely thankyou so much kru mod😍😍😍😍
This was a great video. Besides, you look so happy with your sister's baby that I'm sure you'll be a fantastic mother when the time comes. Good luck with your tutor business!
Dear Kru mod and Kru pear, Thanks you so much for online lesson. I loved Thai culture and people when I was child, I dreamed to perfect in Thai language. When I met your online lesson, it made my expectation come true. Thanks both of you again and again.🙏 Always support you from Myanmar. 💗 Chan rak kuns 💗
We were on our way to Japan and then on to Thailand when this lesson came out. Of course we were in Thailand in February and we fled in March. When we get back to Nakhon Si Thammarat/Tha Sala, we want to treat you and your Mother to a wonderful seafood dinner. But we must get back sometime soon, because our 5 Grandchildren are growing up fast!!! :)
Thank you for another great lesson! I liked your previous lesson (about the use of maa and laew) too. Both of these lessons have helped me better understand Thai grammar structure. Congratulations to your sister. What an absolutely beautiful baby girl!!
love the Thai language a lot and I really want to learn the language, but there is one thing I find very difficult is the use of many words in the sentences as I speak Portuguese as my native language many words that Thais speak do not make sense in my language so I would like to know why Thais use so many words in sentences..
Yes please do a video on the correct pronunciation of all twelve months and also how an everyday Thai person would pronounce the month, also I have difficulty forming the Rrrrrrrrrrrrr sound when and how can I substitute the LLLLLL sound instead ?? Kind Regards , Max
สวัสดิครับ Kru Mod, please make a video on the months in Thai. That would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. They are very very help =) ขอบคุณนะครับ
Thank you for these videos Kru Mod. The grammar instruction is very very helpful for intermediate/advanced learners. Also, your new neice is very cute, and just something that I want to mention is the spelling of the baby's name Airin. I know the pronunciation of the name is like (Irene), but most English speakers will probably pronounce the name Airin as (Erin), which is a common American name.
Just a beginning ! Thai doesn't really have tenses. Instead, it uses classifiers or words that give you insight to know the tense. For example, the word "kon" in that sentence which means first. If it's still your gf, you will say my girlfriend is Thai and not ‘my first girlfriend was Thai’. Another example is "ผมกินข้าวเเล้ว” "phom gin khâao láaeo" it means I already eaten. "Láaeo" is the classifier word which means already in Thai. So if you say phom gin khâao it means I eat, but adding "láaeo" shows the tense. So you never change the tense of a word, it's only about adding some word to let people know when it happened. You can study many classifier words to help you make different tenses. P.s. I hope she responds or some Thai to verify but I studied for awhile and this helped me a lot when I realized it. The grammar is very simple in terms of tenses.
We know it is past tense from the context of the conversation. This sentence is talking about "แฟนคนแรก fan son rack = the first girlfriend" so we know it is in the past.
@@nickhaa Ok my friend, คน "kon" does not mean "first" it means person, & is the classifier for person/people also. แล้ว "laew" is not a classifier at all, it is an adjective or adverb describing something finished/done/ completed action. Classifier words Do NOT make different tenses, you have confused yourself (& anyone else reading that). Keep studying, my friend. You could use words like tomorrow, yesterday etc to show when something has happened so that "tense" as such is not required.
Thank you Krub Mod! You teach very well. I am learning basic Thai and I'm finding it very easy to learn from you. I am greatful I came across your channel. Much much love! Khap khun khap.
Great lesson, thank you kroo Mod, I learnt a lot. The only thing that would have improved it for me is if you showed the conversation three times instead of two - the second time it would have been useful to see it only with the Thai subtitles (Thai script and transliteration) that way the words I couldn't pick up just by listening I could have read and tried to understand. Then the third time could have been with the English translation as well.
Khru Mod, I really want a lesson about the 12 months in thai. I've watched your videos for a long time, learning what I can. I think maybe I'll sign up for a free trial online lesson soon.
Hi, I am learning a lot from your videos. Thank you! I want to give a donation but it seems like your PayPal isn't working. Do you have another way for someone to make a donation?
Helpful good distinction w/ "When." Feel I've been a beginner forever...still learning grammar. "Muea-rai" (question word only) vs "way-laa" (whenever/time) conjunction will try and remember. Excellent lesson Kruu Mod.
Khru Mod, Maybe it will help many if you can translate this: "Sorry, In these challenging times, i cannot send you any more money, as i have no more coming in for myself" 555555
Kru Mod, If I see a child maybe 5- 20 years old, how do I ask his/her age? Also, how do you use certain tenses like for example, " He was a teacher, now he is a doctor."
You can ask อายุเท่าไหร่ aa-yú tâo-rài (how old are you?) He was a teacher = He used to be a teacher เขาเคยเป็นครู /kao koi bpen kruu/ Now ตอนนี้ dtaw-níi เขาเป็นหมอ kaon been maw .
Hello kruu Mod. I appreciate your work mak mak :-) Great lesson and adorable baby. You so happy with your sister, I also felt happy with you. From the grammar you say "its the second baby" and place the classifier before the number: "con tee song". However, in the lesson about classifier you teach the structure: Object + number + classifier, hence: "loog song con". I assume that because the classifier is the same as the object, it was suppose to be: "Irin con tee song (con) ", so the second "con" is dropped. Is that correct? Thank you, Aharon

Thanks for teaching thai speaking, many thanks! May I ask your advise where to buy second car is reliable? safe and cost effective?
I thought year was "bpee", can I use them interchangeable?
I love you..
From viet nam
Is it wrong if i Rolled my R while speaking or it's just uncommon?
Great lesson Kruu Mod, and I see you have fixed your audio quality, in the past it has sometimes been the weakness of your videos. Thanks!

I still don't understand thai names pretty well but is Airin her name or is it her nickname
Love U always
me gustó saber como se dice cute en tailandés 5555.
Easy to focus Kruu Mod! I fall into the trap of saying ki kraang instead of gi kraang, because of the way Thai is written in English.
Perhaps it is time to start learning Thai scripts! :)
@@ThaiwithMod The funny thing is that I can read Thai. I am just not familiar with the spelling of every word yet.

Hello kruu Mod.
I appreciate your work mak mak :-)
Great lesson and adorable baby.
You so happy with your sister, I also felt happy with you.
From the grammar you say "its the second baby" and place the classifier before the number:
"con tee song".
However, in the lesson about classifier you teach the structure:
Object + number + classifier, hence:
"loog song con".
I assume that because the classifier is the same as the object, it was suppose to be:
"Irin con tee song (con) ", so the second "con" is dropped.
Is that correct?
Thank you, Aharon
How would I say “when” if saying “Turn left when you see the 7-11” ?
Pronounced "dawn"=when
In this case, the word "พอ /paw/" is used for when as in "as soon as", the sentence would be พอเห็น 7-11 ก็เลี้ยวซ้าย /paw hen 7-11 gan liao saai/
Khru Mod how did you know exactly what my mistakes are?! :o
Great lesson Kru Mod, thanks.
I have a feeling you would have clapped that mosquito mid air off camera.
Please don't comment on Mods obvious beauty we are here to learn Thai and we should show her respect as a teacher.
at 6:09 the mother said she give milk ....but you translate it "baby wakes up to eat".....( I guess its wrong translation)....
It is not a word-for-word translation. She is giving us the translation as we might say it naturally in English. I think the thai podcast folks do word-for-word. Not sure which I prefer.
