Very early on before the members of Stray Kids were chosen, Yaochen was a trainee at JYP in Korea, going through the same classes with the members who eventually were chosen for Stray Kids. They all became friends. He eventually ended up back in China, where he debuted with a Chinese idol group called R1SE. That group debuted in 2019 and disbanded in 2021. Yaochen is currently a solo artist under a Chinese JYP subsidiary. He and the Stray Kids members - especially Bang Chan - have maintained a great friendship over the years. 3Racha also composed / Bang Chan arranged (along with VERSACHOI) a solo song for Yaochen, called "Nevermind."
