G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Oh my goodness, that last rock pool 🤩🤩🤩 I really wish I got to it first before it had been thoroughly picked over by that other nice guy, but what can you do 😂 It hasn't been full of shells since this time last year! I did have fun looking through it, but I didn't go through with a fine-toothed comb. The drupe shell was super cool, it was actually in the rocks waaaaay at the back of the beach; an unusual spot for this guy, I thought! Thank you so much for taking the time to come along with me 🥰

Good early morning, Maddie Wow, again. Still have a couple of 1sts. The pyramid periwinkle, Jason's venus ( I really like this one), I think this was a first for me, and also is the mulberry whelk(drupe) shell. There are so many shells to enjoy today. The zebra volute,ring top cowrie, black nerite, the different kinds of coral, prickly rock shell, wintaletrap, S. Trumpets( you had very good luck with them today), worm cones were beautiful, yellow dove shell, the split worm snail, snake-head. The Arabians were nice, even the live one. It was so very nice of you to move the live one. I enjoyed all the cowries, the little jingle (just too cute), the acorn barnicale was a large one. You know I can never puck a favorite one. I enjoy all the shells. I really do enjoy when I realize that there are new ones. At least I think they are new ones. You always give me a good laugh when you are going in the deep water pools. You always give me something to look forward to during the week. My mom is back from respite. I thought maybe she would mellow out on me. She can sit up by herself but always needs help laying back down. When she came back, I had to put my foot down on a few things. She did good for a day and a half now she is trying to get around the new things we put in place for her. She is in our house and not in her house. I felt bad because she had to leave her home but I have to remember she is in our house. So when I say your videos, it really helps me mellow out and enjoy seeing all the shells. I wish I could go shelling with you. I know it would be a blast. Maybe one day. Thank you for being you. I hope you have a wonderful day, Maddie 😊

I must again thank the man who helps me with a lot of these IDs. Oh yes, plenty of S. Trumpets this time too...I was finding a bunch for a while, and then less, but now I'm back to more again - they are a bit of a common shells around here, but I still like them a lot. I'm thrilled that you liked seeing the cowries too; I actually have a lot of great ones coming up in the next few episodes, but I shan't say more. There was a couple of great cone shells too, but I think you're right, that little Jingle was just adorable. I'm always glad to bring a smile to your face, and uplift your day just a little. I know things are always tough at home, but you're doing something really selfless and amazing. It must be hard for her to get used to needing to relying on mobility aids and your help after a life of independence... I can understand her attitude, but I just wish that things were easier on you too. If you ever get over to Queensland, I would show you around to all of the shelling spots that I know🏖️. @@SandCoffeeRocks We have been saving for a while not to take a very big tirp and coming your way is something I would love to do. I enjoy watching you go shelling and cannot wait to shell somewhere. My mom is having no Trouble letting me help her anymore. But it is starting to get to be to much for me. I have had so many surgeries that i am starting to hurt myself. She has hardly any strength in her legs and I cannot handle being in so much pain everyday. Anyways I am looking forward to see your next shelling video. Have a wonderful day Maddie 😊

Hello there Maddie, I see that you are braving very deep pools to collect cowries- do you take spare clothing? That sea hare looked a bit like what we call a Cornish pastie - half moon shaped pastry containing meat and veg, very delish, I don’t think they like being touched either😂 but they don’t wander around in rock pools. Great finds, loved the drupe/rock shell.Cowries we’re really good too. Beautiful display at the end.xxxxx

I should take spare clothes though...I do have a towel in the car in case I go under 🌊 but my clothes are pretty quick drying except for the undies, and you don't technically need to wear them (or pants) while you're driving home 🤣 Hahaha, pasties are meant to be touched!! Your Cornish Pasties sound so delicious, you're making me hungry. Hi Maddie, the witch of wentletraps 😂 loved the Venus and then the ring top. Of course I really like the rock shell.. it's really hard sometimes to pick a favorite. I don't know what it is about the ocean, but just the sound of the waves hitting the rocks is so relaxing to me. Thanks again Maddie for sharing as usual I loved every moment.
G'day Roberta 👋🏻💖 Hahaha, lately, I've noticed that the crabs have more luck with Wentletraps than I do; they are the WentleCrabs 🐚🦀 but there are still plenty of other amazing shells to find! The Venus was really nice with it's black oxydisation, and the ring top was just a pretty one today (although I do find an even nicer one in this weekend's video!). The waves are relaxing, I agree...unless you're wading out into them to snatch up shells, and then it becomes a little less relaxing 😂🏖️ the waves are a constant, ever changing obstacle to my quest for cowries!!! Oh my God, I just realized: Quest for Cowries, or Cowrie Quest, would have been a super awesome name for my TH-cam channel. Ahhh, a missed opportunity 😅 Thanks again for watching, Roberta 🥰

Oh yes, the long spines should be for sea urchins...sometimes I see a bunch of spines, and then none of them for months and months! Sea hare is super adorable, I love those guys. The next few videos were very exciting for me because of the high quality appearance of the cowries...Sunday's video is a beach trip that I'll love for a very long time. I'm going out again today for the third day in a row, wish me luck for more super low tide goodies! One of my favorites is of course the donkey cowrie. But today I think the pyramid periwinkle takes the cake.

G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 Woohoo, that Jason's Venus was super lovely and unique today; the black oxydisation was really cool 😎 on the shell. Oh yes, the long spines should be for sea urchins...sometimes I see a bunch of spines, and then none of them for months and months! Sea hare is super adorable, I love those guys. The next few videos were very exciting for me because of the high quality appearance of the cowries...Sunday's video is a beach trip that I'll love for a very long time. I'm going out again today for the third day in a row, wish me luck for more super low tide goodies! @@SandCoffeeRocks Yes Maddie over 300 even taking out duplicates. I tried to put them in order. Cowries and Cones have their page. Others everything else and tried to put Snails, etc together. please take seashells mindfully as hermit crams are now losing shells and instead are using trash as their shell
G'day Satriyo 👋🏻🐚 No worries, I am very mindful about the marine life at the beach 🏖️🦀 and the shells are plentiful here, the crabs have so many options for their homes. I haven't seen any use trash as their homes either, and there isn't much trash at the beach...I do remove the bits that I see in the water 🌊 Thanks for watching 🥰
