truffleshuffle83 the first solo being perfectly slow and tasteful, the second blowing everyone away. I was at this show but I still come back and watch this video pretty frequently
JonnyMaxxx honestly his bold above cover at this show was even more ridiculous. Wish I would've filmed it. Check out his riffs in the ain't no sunshine vid I posted too 👌
I thought this when I heard Helpless, but he has finally achieved full Clapton. There's some level it feels like he's been trying to hit for years now (with Wildfire coming really damn close in regard to studio work), but now it's like he can achieve it on command, especially live.
This truly is his best version of this song. This rendition that he played on Columbus.
tehmisteh agreed. The double guitar solo 👌

found this gold right here
Turns out that guy in the comment section of that other video was right, that mid section solo was pretty sweet.
And then I heard the second solo (!!)
that comment brought me here too hahah
JonnyMaxxx what other video?
Can't remember the full title, it was a run down of 5 of Mayer's best solos this past tour, they were mainly from the London 11/12 May shows.

JonnyMaxxx haha yeah that was my comment! I'm glad you like it haha I think it's absolutely perfect. I was there that night and I feel so lucky
❤️❤️❤️❤️
