Great Way To Treat and Kill Bugs In St. Augustine Grass
When you have insects and bugs in your lawn, it's time to act quickly. Bugs can ruin your otherwise beautiful turf. Your options include include granular and liquid. Today I'm going to be using SPECTRACIDE® TRIAZICIDE® INSECT KILLER using their hose sprayer. It's not as fast as using the Ortho Dial-N-Spray, but it does get the job done. You can use this on either a 2500 sq. ft. lawn, or for a lighter dose, go with the 5000 sq. ft. lawn. The heavier application is for subterranean pests such as Chinch Bugs and grubs, while the lighter application is focused on topical pests such as fleas and ants.

Which months and how many times in the year you use this insect killer?

May through November, once every 2-3 months, or as needed, especially spot treating ants. Sevin granular is also good and last 2-3 months.
