I have lived long enough to tell you that I have seen groups like Shakira, Prince, the Osmunds, the Commandors, Queen, Elton John, etc. give crappy performances or worse not show up to work after spending a ton of money to get there. Shakira came three hours late to her concert with families and kids who ere six to twelve as her main audience. Prince came on stage for ten minutes, then had equipment failure and left. We were out €500! I could go on! People are not made of money and the performers should respect their fans' pocket books!

Saw her in Barcelona in 2016, she was playing in a (?olympic) stadium. I was worried the intimacy of her songs would get lost. But it was amazing- her massive voice just filled the entire place. And she does a bit of stand-up comedy in between sets to balance out the sadness lol. I’d pay $$$$ to see this once-in-a-generation talent again.
Saw her Miami 2016 .. amazing. Her voice was in every corner of that arena! Amazing . She’s just amazing! And she’s hilarious. So personable and just an ease spirit free vibe kind of atmosphere
The only issue I have with Adele it's when she came to New York to Madison Square Garden there wasn't a ticket cheaper than $620. Many of her tickets were between $1500 and $3000. That's insane and screams I'm in it for the money and only my rich fans.

Still in today's money nowheres near what Adele starts with at $600 for the crappy seats that was the case in NY. It was thousands on the orchestra floor nevermind the front rows in 5 digits. Adele can pick and choose whoever she wants as a concert promoter. She is NOT stuck without choices. No she's in it for the money for rich people only as her fans who can see her live. The prices and the facts bear that out. I would agree that most stars charge a fortune for meet-and-greet but you don't need a meet-and-greet to enjoy someone's music. If Billie English starts at $1000 there's no way she's capturing her core audience and she doesn't care. Younger kids don't have that kind of money and I don't know any parents who would dish that out for a ticket and I live in NY where plenty of people have money.
Why is nobody talking about the cancelled shows in London. They also told us that we would be the first one to be able to buy new tickets for a show in London. That didn't happend at all.

If she really is rescheduling “this year” then why can’t she indicate when? Even if it’s just an approximate time frame. 1Q, 2Q, 3Q, 4Q? No idea? While her banter is entertaining it’s not lining up with what Caesar’s Palace is saying. They staffed up for this concert series and spent millions preparing for it. Real people lost their jobs over her meltdown. Real people who were barely hanging on after Covid shut Vegas down for so long. Caesar’s could have booked someone more reliable if she needed more months to prepare. The lack of compassion for these people is mystifying to me.
I still think she should have gone on that stage with her singing voice and a piano and that's it. If anything, she could give another FREE CONCERT with the whole show to that same people another day. But CANCELLING IT 24 HS BEFORE?? That's nuts.

After how she handled the whole Las Vegas thing, I have to say I look at her different. She screwed over a lot of people and a lot of people lost a lot of money in travel expenses. She has money so she has lost that perspective of everyday people.
Went to see her show in the arena of Verona. It was pouring down and the show got almost cancelled...luckily it wasn't and it was beautiful. The audience obviously sitting there in an intimate atmosphere (that only an ancient arena in Italy can give you) completely soaking wet. We really enjoyed it anyway

I saw Adele live in Staples Center years ago and her beautiful voice just radiated the entire massive stadium. It was magical.

I think that's why Céline has put hers all the way out to 2023, the cancellation affects everyone and Célines tickets are next level expensive.
