About Pulisic being taken off. He was obviously really tired. He worked really hard and covered a lot of ground. About the coaching. Winning this game 3-1 is a sign of great coaching. The team playing its best in the biggest games. All of that said, Mike Mignon is the man of the match. Without his saves we might have lost.
@ reijenders has insane midfield control and vision. Pulisic has one of the most goal contributions in Serie a since his arrival if not the most. I’d being the best goal contributor in a top 2 league isn’t a super star idk what is

No question! For the brand for sure after getting washed by Liverpool in the 1st game, a statement win was needed but not expected. Last season it came against PSG this time around Madrid but this one is bigger for sure!
Pulisic’s corner kicking has improved significantly. He’s practiced it a lot I’m sure. The goal he assisted, his kick was perfectly taken as it travelled into the box.
@@BobMcBurger1 So happy to see him improve this partnof his game. His corner's for National team were not always outstanding. He has obviously put an emphasis on improving this area of his game.
Spot on again with your take away…Fonseca finally got the correct starting lineup im so glad his moving pass starting Loftus-Cheek and is starting to see Musah quality. We just have to hope that Leao and Theo can keep playing like this, every season they have a game that they show their quality and reminds us how good they are.
Pulisic was still feeling effects from stomach bug and needed to come off…. He rarely gets tired, but his stamina was off later in the game… Hopefully the guys have sorted out the locker room as Rafa was clearly engaged today. Musah was Royals little helper. He was everywhere. He lost the ball a couple times but that was overshadowed by his work rate. So good.... that was fun to watch. Gold box baby!
I’ve been anti Fonseca since it was announced he was being hired but gotta give him credit for planning this match. The way he had his guys organize themselves cleanly into an obvious 5-3-2 and sometimes 5-4-1 defensive formation every time Madrid controlled the ball showed practicality and discipline against a superior team. He adjusted his tactics well at a critical time.
Look the coach is also rotating the squad. There are 3 tournaments ucl, serie A, copa italia. U don't want ur starting XI players to get tired plus u don't want ur benched players to have less playing time and thus less confidence.
Imagine if we had Tiji, Theo , Leao and a 100% fit Pulisic without a flu starting in that game against Napoli ...oh well . I still think and have faith that after the winter break, we will be fighting for the serie a title.
80% of Morata’s game is off the ball, he ran the show so much, you will find no striker who can score and also help out so much all around the pitch. Sure he doesn’t score like a Thuram but the amount of help he gives the team is massive.
It just cannot be understated what Morata does, I haven't fully made up my mind on him in terms of balance as in being a bit better at finishing but man the guy is a workhorse.
I said it here some time ago that the way I saw Fonseca played against Bayer Leverkusen, I don't think we would easily lose any matches again in the Champions League. Great performance ❤️🖤
Best we've played as a team this year. Rafa did his job. Musah did *his* job! *Fonseca* freakin did his job!! And TJ has finally started hitting the back of the net ❤️🔥 Puli is the engine of this team, and he *purred* 😁 I have one criticism of him though, and that is in making plays for his teammates he has gotten a bit too unselfish at times. In that brilliant run he should have taken the shot instead of passing to Leao. Other than that... *brilliant*
The entire move from Reinders from the drive, to the pass, to the SUBLIME control and then shot - Absolute class. And that's not to take away anything from the rest of his performance, but that moment to me is proof that he CAN be absolutely world class. If he can recreate these performances at a consistent rate, we've got a massive midfielder on our hands. And his attitude is unquestionable.
Reijnders running the show at Bernabeu against 4 midfielders, press resistent, amazing vision, first touch on point, this guy is what world class midfielder looks like
Tijji, Mike or Musah should have been the thumbnail. Pulisic and coach should have had a green box...and giving a gold box to Rafa is absolutely nut riding bro lol..he was good but made alot of mistakes and almost all analysts saw it but you didnt lol.
Kush, fantastic performance by the players and Fonseca got his tactics right from the start. I hope that how we played yesterday can springboard us into going a run and showing more consistency throughout the rest of the season.
