Now finally this AC milan fans can see why Musa was kept and backed by Pioli and Fonseca.. he's still learning but he plays like no one's else does. He's player type is extremely valuable!
Pulisic’s corner kicking has improved significantly. He’s practiced it a lot I’m sure. The goal he assisted, his kick was perfectly taken as it travelled into the box.
@@BobMcBurger1 So happy to see him improve this partnof his game. His corner's for National team were not always outstanding. He has obviously put an emphasis on improving this area of his game.
Look the coach is also rotating the squad. There are 3 tournaments ucl, serie A, copa italia. U don't want ur starting XI players to get tired plus u don't want ur benched players to have less playing time and thus less confidence.
Kush you don't miss. Musah is special and he's game is so brave. The boy doesn't care and is not scared of anyone, both defensively and attacking wise. He has shown to be the next guy in the midfield ahead of RLC. I have always felt that our young players are gems. Big Big win and not just for the table but for our brand as an elite club. Forza Milan
No question! For the brand for sure after getting washed by Liverpool in the 1st game, a statement win was needed but not expected. Last season it came against PSG this time around Madrid but this one is bigger for sure!
Imagine if we had Tiji, Theo , Leao and a 100% fit Pulisic without a flu starting in that game against Napoli ...oh well . I still think and have faith that after the winter break, we will be fighting for the serie a title.
I said it here some time ago that the way I saw Fonseca played against Bayer Leverkusen, I don't think we would easily lose any matches again in the Champions League. Great performance ❤️🖤
Kush, fantastic performance by the players and Fonseca got his tactics right from the start. I hope that how we played yesterday can springboard us into going a run and showing more consistency throughout the rest of the season.
I’ve been anti Fonseca since it was announced he was being hired but gotta give him credit for planning this match. The way he had his guys organize themselves cleanly into an obvious 5-3-2 and sometimes 5-4-1 defensive formation every time Madrid controlled the ball showed practicality and discipline against a superior team. He adjusted his tactics well at a critical time.
The entire move from Reinders from the drive, to the pass, to the SUBLIME control and then shot - Absolute class. And that's not to take away anything from the rest of his performance, but that moment to me is proof that he CAN be absolutely world class. If he can recreate these performances at a consistent rate, we've got a massive midfielder on our hands. And his attitude is unquestionable.
Musah was Royals little helper. He was everywhere. He lost the ball a couple times but that was overshadowed by his work rate. So good.... that was fun to watch. Gold box baby!
Reijnders running the show at Bernabeu against 4 midfielders, press resistent, amazing vision, first touch on point, this guy is what world class midfielder looks like
I think the pressure on Fonseca must be on the management to buy him better players and results will come . Fonseca has the balls to be Milan manager . I will continue to support him as our coach .
Let Pulisic (and anyone else who needs it) sit the game against Cagliari. He will play both matches during the international break, and we have a game against Juventus as well as a Champions League match when players return. These games are a great opportunity to give more minutes to players like Musah and Chukwueze.
80% of Morata’s game is off the ball, he ran the show so much, you will find no striker who can score and also help out so much all around the pitch. Sure he doesn’t score like a Thuram but the amount of help he gives the team is massive.
It just cannot be understated what Morata does, I haven't fully made up my mind on him in terms of balance as in being a bit better at finishing but man the guy is a workhorse.
Fonseca masterclass last night. The shape of the team in defence, their attitude and discipline gave me a hope for the future. Lets be honest, expecting a scudetto from the very first season of a new coach, who is not a proven winner, like Fonseca was always a happy dream more than a realistic goal. I believe his second season will be the true test whether he's "the one" or not. Forza Milan!
Milan transformed into their primal form yesterday Milan win because of football basics, players and ball was always moving, no one was hogging the ball and no one was flat footed
There's only one thing I didn't understand. Why do the hosts of International sports TV shows belittle Milan so much. As if some random team like Alaves playing against Real Madrid. If you look at the squad, it's bout the same quality of players as Atletico Madrid have. Despite that those TV hosts never show disrespect to Atletico
The English hate Italian football buddy, they thought they could build a league comparable to 80's and 90's Serie A with their national team shining, yet we've won the Euros with our worst National team ever and they still have nothing.
@bzilla-d4i the English have a huge ego when it comes to football; they always think they're the best at it. The English hate everyone besides themselves. They're always talking crap about LaLiga and Serie A because they think they're both slow leagues.
Been wanting a Madrid Milan matchup for years and to batter them away is a strong result for this group, now have to do it against everyone worse than Madrid in Europe.
This was a great match, felt very team driven. I'm still not fully sold on Fonseca, but I do think a quality of his is developing players; everyone seems to be trying a new position or a new format until they find their gold.
What game were you watching? How many chances did Leao miss??? I give him credit for having the opportunity but he’s not a finisher and makes poor decisions in the final 3rd often! Including losing possession to easily! It was not a bad performance. But pulisic was clearly more deserving of that claim than Laeo! Those 1st 2 goals were pulisic based!
Agreed. It was waaaaaaay closer in performance than he leads on. And we forget pulisics full field run and leaos inability to finish. Yes I realize it was behind him but it t shows pulisic is trying so hard to get Leao involved and if the reverse happened Leao would have shot and sky’d it. It’s unfortunate. Hope they can click
Best we've played as a team this year. Rafa did his job. Musah did *his* job! *Fonseca* freakin did his job!! And TJ has finally started hitting the back of the net ❤️🔥 Puli is the engine of this team, and he *purred* 😁 I have one criticism of him though, and that is in making plays for his teammates he has gotten a bit too unselfish at times. In that brilliant run he should have taken the shot instead of passing to Leao. Other than that... *brilliant*
First thing first we love Milan that’s our team and if I see something wrong I’ll say it yes we won and if they could play like this every game who knows how far they can go but the point is that they need to work on their midfield and attacking they’re passing and they’re shooting and for me, Mike Maignan was player of the match like every other match. He’s a great goalkeeper.
Wow what an amazingly unexpected result! This was the best performance of the season for Milan! I wish this team could performance like this on a regular basis! Leao had a great game & of course Pulisic continues to perform at a high level like he has this season!
Tijji, Mike or Musah should have been the thumbnail. Pulisic and coach should have had a green box...and giving a gold box to Rafa is absolutely nut riding bro lol..he was good but made alot of mistakes and almost all analysts saw it but you didnt lol.
Thiaw and Gabbia are by far our best defender, the problemnis that they are slow, but i don't want to see Tomori play while 1 of this 2 go on the bench. I want to try thse 2 together.
As for me, Leao both won us the game and almost undid the game for us. His lazy attitude is very much there. The good thing is that, when we needed him, he delivered. I hope Fonseca will let him see this. He has to really step up to the next level. Milan is waiting banking on him on that.
I'm just glad to see some pressure taken off of Leao. The discourse around him had gotten too toxic from fans frustration with his bad form and his lack of defensive effort compared to Pulisic. Just imagine how good Milan can be if Puli, Reijnders, Theo and Leao get going at the same time.
What a great performance from the entire team. Some sloppy mistakes, but great attitude and hustle by everyone. They need to show this every match! Switching to the 5-4-1 in defense seemed quite effective, I hope he explores that more going forward.
This statistic is more impressive REAL MADRID have never won at the SAN SIRO against MILAN since this championship was created however MILAN have defeated REAL MADRID at the BERNABEU twice. This being the second time in an official game it's also a timelime of more than 60 YEARS OLD.
This team is not bad. If you can play like this consistently, you can win a Scudetto. Leao, Pulisic, Reijndars, Theo, Maignan... are all world-class. Morata, Abraham, and Fofana are the next best.
If this team could give the best performances against the biggest opponents (Napoli game doesn't count due to the absence of many important players) I'm really wondering if it's a matter of concentration and motivation. And I think Milan with the type of players it has that is more suited to counterattacking football instead of possession concentrating first on being very compact when defending like they showed in Madrid and then using the speed of players like Theo, Leao, Okafor, Chuku, Pulisic, Morata and even Reijnders and Loftus Cheek
Say what you like, but Fonseca outcoached Ancelotti yesterday - and the team is now playing in his image more and more by the game. Yesterday’s performance was the proof. Forza Raga!
Fonseca's performance has been a little puzzling to me. He lost or tied many of the games we should have won but he beat the likes of Inter and now Madrid. I was pretty against him in the beginning but now Idrk how to feel.
Super performance from the boys, I totally agree with what you said, however I am really sorry to say it, but I was eager to hear about Loftus and Calabria too. Loftus wasn't good enough for me, he should have finished that chance created by Theo. But man, Calabria was absolutely disastrous - horrible display within only 3-4 minutes he played. For me, it isn't even a debate who should start on the RB position anymore. He got a red box for only 4 minutes of playtime from me.
Amazing result. Madrid is obviously off, but Milan was also really good. The thing i cant stand though is that it takes a game like this to motivate this team. I hate it. Of course they win against Real freaking Madrid. Get the **** outta here..
Out of all the world class field players on the field none were brighter than Leao and Tiji. Although Leao needs more consistency, we have two Ballon Dor contenders. I said it at the beginning of the season and ill say it again, by the time the season ends everyone will know Tiji and he will be a top midfielder in the world.
We here fam, never in a million years would someone say Musah and Royal bodied Vini. We outplayed and desrved more goals yesterday🔴⚫.

Now finally this AC milan fans can see why Musa was kept and backed by Pioli and Fonseca.. he's still learning but he plays like no one's else does. He's player type is extremely valuable!
He also works hard
Pulisic’s corner kicking has improved significantly. He’s practiced it a lot I’m sure.
The goal he assisted, his kick was perfectly taken as it travelled into the box.
@@BobMcBurger1 So happy to see him improve this partnof his game. His corner's for National team were not always outstanding. He has obviously put an emphasis on improving this area of his game.
@@mrs8171 I'm happy his corners are better since he gets more goal contributions because of it. Since kicking the corner counts as an assist.
Leao absolutely shone! If he keeps putting on performances like this there are NO reasons for Fonseca to bench him AT ALL
Fonseca knows how to trigger Leao performance. Let's hope, Leao performs well.
Look the coach is also rotating the squad. There are 3 tournaments ucl, serie A, copa italia. U don't want ur starting XI players to get tired plus u don't want ur benched players to have less playing time and thus less confidence.
Man Leao need space to perform, yesterday a great match beacause of this reason. Leao ha problems when he meet defensive team s
We have 5 superstar players that need to be superstars at the same time and we’ll be great.

Im convinced fonseca gets his tactics right 80% of the time but the players dont always execute, it on the pitch......

He reminds me more of Rui Costa

Also so happy that Musah put on a great performance all around and deserved that recognition. Really wished we played him more over RLC.

so proud of this team, if they can play like this consistently thats what we need
to be fair, it was Theo's wayward pass that lead to Real's penalty .. but he redeem himself with great game afterward

Milan win because of football basics, players and ball was always moving, no one was hogging the ball and no one was flat footed
The first two goals wouldn't have come without CP.

I swear I heard the curva singing the leao song at one point maybe around the 60th or 70th min. Haven't heard that since maybe last September.
I think kush, the word you are looking for there to describe Reijnders is "press resistant". We haven't had such midfielder In a while.

another American Milanista who had been underrated this season...Kush is...well all Pun aside 'had been a great Kush' in our pockets.

Yunus Musah is no stranger playing against Madrid or any other LaLiga team from his time with VALENCIA
You're right, slipped my mind! I see he played them a few times and even beat them with Valencia before.
Kush the biggest downside of this team is consistency. If Fonseca sorts this out we could end this season with silverware.
Milan looked fit and sharp for 90 minutes.

Was that Reijnders or Baggio?
I HOPE this game gives confidence to all our team
Musah s still following Vini😭🙏
He said that he didn’t have enough time to prepare for Napoli. I believe him
We had golden duo on left side Theo and Leao , but now we have golden trio Theo , Tijjani and Leao. If you notice these 3 were combining so well. 🥳

I expected chukwueze to start cause he provides something on that left wing. Our left wing was dormant through the match
Milan's tactics focused on isolating Vazquez with Leão, sacrificing their right side by assigning Musah to double-team Vinícius Jr.
Mussa has speed and strength and can play box to box. He was there to face guard Vini ( like in basketball)
Musah locked down Vinicius. Except the penalty
0:40 mbappe is not one of the greatest footballers in history

Say what you like, but Fonseca outcoached Ancelotti yesterday - and the team is now playing in his image more and more by the game. Yesterday’s performance was the proof. Forza Raga!
There are a lot of similarities between Pulisic and Reijnders.

Calabria should be sold. We would have conceded more of he started
