My name is Eric and I travel with my cat, “Jax” in a 2001 Chevy Fleetwood Tioga Arrow 24D Class C RV. We travel about 45 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round. Here are some popular questions asked:

Had to go show my husband Jax's own special rig. We are "Cat Fanatics". Jax looks like he enjoys being in the stroller and looking all around. And of course, he knows you will find a place to give him some leash time in the grass.

Yes i realized that too. Im enjoying all of the video..and sometimes streaching my neck hoping to get a closer look, but most the time you cover it better than others even showing the closed sign on the door. Instead of just sitting in your van talking about it.

I love your time lapse shots of the sky...it brought me back to childhood when it was fun to lay in the grass, in the shade, and watch the clouds fly by :) made me smile...always love the vids...you do a great job...it's fun to see all the nooks, crannies and unique people of Route 66 :) safe travels. ...HUGS FROM IDAHO ! :)

Eric, this bit of information may come in handy for you in the future. More often than not VFW and American Legion Clubs will allow over night parking. It is up to the Post Commander. If contact information is not posted on the building. You can just google the post number. (You saw the number on the sign) If you were in Springfield it was most likely Post 639 and the number was (417) 882-8639. I know you have moved on now but in the future just google the VFW or American Legion post and city and you will get a phone number. Most will ask if you are current or post military. I am assuming you are not so feel free to tell them that you are a friend of Retired Master Sargent Ratliff in Fort Worth TX and I had recommended you contact them. Not sure that will carry any weight but it can't hurt and you have my blessing to use my name. I am a member of the Legion as well as the VFW.

As a fellow Washingtonian, I learned by experience when bike riding across the US, that although we have a lot of rain we don't very often have the horrific thunderstorms they have in the Midwest and East. One in New Hampshire scared us to death and killed some campers not too far from us. We took refuge in a public bathroom in a campground as the grounds flooded. I'll take Washington rain anytime. Love your videos and good riddance to the beard.

Lowell Davis Passed away today. And you met him, and spoke to him for a few seconds in this video, but you didn't know anything about him.. He was a master artist, and a staple of the town of Carthage. He was amazing. 11/2/2020 Rest in Peace Lowell.

I love seeing Jax in the stroller. It's totally cute. That temp is the same as summer here in northern Aust. Can't live without air conditioners although strangely enough we didn't have air conds when I was a kid and we did okay.

I've tried to figure out why I like your videos and this video made me realize that's it's your approach to showing us a forgotten America. Not that I want to live in the past, and at my age there is a lot of past, but you find these locations that are time capsules as life once was. By the way, the submarine conning tower came from the USS Lapon (SNS-661).

What are the plans once route 66 is completed? Continuing on to the east coast? Maybe a cross Canada trip to return to Washington and celebrate Canada's 150 yr anniversary and enjoy the exchange rate in your favor? A first international trip idea? Great videos as always! I think that I have seen everyone since the beginning. I did them in chorological order to play catch up and get the full story of the travels. Keep on keeping on! Safe travels!
Hey Eric I think doing a video on your process on finding and securing your safe free or cheap boon-docking spots. I think it could benefit the RVing/Van Dwelling community a lot. A huge question people have all the time is how to find a safe spot to stay over night and how to check and make sure its legal and safe. Just a thought but great video and as always we loving following your channel. =D
