Loved seeing my old home town. Yup, that is my Chicago! You get used to the drivers. You get used to rush hour(s) where you crawl in traffic. I think it has taught me to be able to drive anywhere and has taught me patience. No sense raising my blood pressure over all those idiots!! 😛 Thank you for a fun adventure! Thoroughly enjoyed making the journey with you and Jax. I made this journey going the other way when I was a child. It was still the best route west back then and magical for me as a seven year old.

Thank You Eric. I traveled Route 66 every year during my childhood.(Without air conditioning) From L.A. area to near Springfield , Mo., visiting family my Dad left behind. You've given me the gift of some great memories.
I was only 3 years old when my parents moved from Lafayette Indiana to Phoenix Arizona (60 years ago). We traveled Route 66 back in it's hayday when all those quirky little motels and restaurants we're thriving businesses. Glad to see that some have survived. Thank you for the opportunity to flash back to a simpler time. Happy travels, and stay safe. Looking forward to your next adventure.

Born and raised there escaped as soon as possible. Friends still call it home and maybe just nostalgic for the better days in the pasted. Just want to thank you for all your dedication to your viewers. I love all your tours of this country and hope you know how much you are appreciated. Loved and laughed all through the Breaking Bad episode. So creative. Thanks again! Consult a trucker's atlas for clearances along your route. Don't trust Google for it.
Google will get you killed. Trucker GPS is good to have too.
