Offense will struggle but be improved. I think these games are ones Iowa can win. Iowa may have a 5% chance at winning against Ohio State, and they will lose another game likely on this schedule. 10-2 is my prediction as well.
I think that because the Big 10 is the richest conference, Iowa at 10-2 will get them into the playoffs. I see Commissioner Pettiti packaging Ohio State and Iowa together for the playoffs.
Iowa Wisconsin is always a hard hitting game that could leave both teams banged up. UCLA will be able to take advantage of that plus Iowa doesn't play well on the west coast.
The fact that Iowa had minimal problems against minnesota and maryland with the worst offenses in the country tells me they should be find with a better offense this year. I see 2 losses potentially but not 4.
@@Matt-zw2on ONE ranked team (Ohio State). How is that not a cupcake schedule ? Where is the Oregon, PSU, Michigan or even USC. This is as easy as it get's in the B1G.
@@al9685 they always have one of the better defenses in the country😭they did last year, it doesn’t matter when you can’t average 21 points a game or score on a decent opponent
@@evanh1205 They played most of last season with a walk-on level QB and their best offensive weapon (Lachey) injured. They were horrendous on offense last season and still managed to win 10 games. if they stay healthy, they are better than 11 teams on their schedule this season.
8-3, nice bowl gm, no playoffs. Off. line is experienced, but not proven to be skilled. I've seen teams return all 5 off. linemen and finish 3-8. Experience counts for something, but talent trumps all.
@@minaeldiwany3215Are you looking at the same schedule I am? Illinois State, Troy, Minnesota, MSU, Northwestern. As well as Nebraska, Iowa State, Wisconsin, and a depleted Washington team all at home.
UCLA is going to be the worst team in the Big Ten this season. Iowa will not lose that game.

They’ll be many 10-2 big ten ten teams. Potentially mich, usc, Oregon, psu
Best case 12-0 (if the offense is really improved) worst case 8-4
I agree with your prediction SG1 100%
If Iowa can score 21points a game they will win 11 games but who knows imma say 11-1 ceiling 8-4 floor so let's say 10-2

7-5
8-4 or 9-3 imo. Losing to OSU, Maryland, Washington, and 50/50 on Wisconsin
Best case: 10-2
Worse case: 8-4
I have Iowa losing to Ohio State and UCLA
Cant wait til they play oregon and some actual tough teams. Theyve benefited greated from a weak big 10 west. Never bet on iowa having an offense.
They find a way to go 7-5/8-4
9-3 (6-3 B1G), Losses: @Ohio State 49-17, @Michigan State 25-20, and vs Nebraska 33-23.
6-6 losses to Iowa state Minnesota Ohio state Washington Wisconsin and Maryland
8-4 with losses to Minnesota, THE, UCLA, and Maryland

The weather precludes the big ten from becoming a passing league.
11-1, OSU

There shedule is so easy!
7-5 (4-5) losses to Minnesota, Ohio State, Washington, UCLA, and Maryland
11-1
8-4 to 10-2
