Sometimes there is many contributing factors as to why the Gel doesnt hold down the hair. In my case. My hair is really short ans super elastic like. So the front hair kept on bouncin up😂😂 cause it was not long enough to meet my pony tail. 😩😩 Anyways. Your hair is long and im sure this gel would work wonders It is very strong. And besides the front part. It was very strong and most of my hair cooperated and layed down. ❤❤❤
