It is necessary to use both cartridge or only one can be used in ts207 ?

This is not a ts207.
But generally both the cartridges need to be installed for the printer to work. Even if the colour ink is empty, and you have to print black and white the colour cartridge should be inserted into its slot.

The company has not made any provision for it. But I have seen videos of people drilling holes and filling ink. I am not the right person to guide as I don't have experience regarding the same.

Purchaed the MG 3070S printer 3 months ago, and noted the following
1. The printer does not support borderless photo printing.
2. It consumes ink more quickly than other printer of the same class.

When it gets empty.
The yellow notification light on the printer will turn on indicating that the cartridge is low on ink or empty.

Please confirm that you have the same printer. The cartridge is usually non-refillable. It can only be replaced.
But even so, it is possible to refill using special kits.
If you are doing the same and it works, then I don't think there will be any problem.

Around 2000 (more or less) for XL size of each. And will print around 150 pages. Number of pages will depend on the page coverage as well.
Lower capacity cartridge will cost less and print lesser number of pages.

#DIY_with_AK LiㅌR. CL 746s yields a maximum of 25-30 pages. Buy refillable inks on Amazon or local shop. 👇

I bought this printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi

Yes it's really easy to use. The only downside is low print volume per cartridge.

Buying ink jet printer is pure waste of money it's initail cost is low but u can't print 100s if pages pls buy ink tank or laser printers

Exactly right. Inkjet printers are suitable for low volume occasional printing only. You can get kits to install ink tanks.
