I've only seen the first one, but I thought that was very good. The nice angle from it is that the daughter is deaf, so the family is already used to communicating in sign. That made it fun to watch with my deaf friend who loves horror movies.
Oh Joe, Joe, Joe....Ya gotta see the first 2. Pt 1 is a superb nerve-wrecking masterpiece. Pt. 2 isn't as nerve-wrecking, but you definitely fall in love with the family (which is the same family from pt 1) and just have to see them through to the end...or is it? I hear there's a Pt.3 that follows the same family in the works. I am looking forward to seeing the prequel. Thanx for the review. it sounds like it's gonna be pretty good.
I'll have to check it out! I highly recommend the first two films! Very suspenseful, and I think you would really enjoy them. Ironically, you actually can call these newer movies "films" because they were shot on 35 mm, to get a more natural look! You rarely see that these days, apart from Tarantino and Nolan. A fun fact about the second movie is it was extensively filmed close to where I live, and features a scene on a bridge that I take to work every day! :)
Thanks for the review, Joe, and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I saw the first one in the series. It was quite good. Very well done. But I haven't seen the sequels. Maybe I should check them out. Nice to hear that you're venturing back into the theater. I hope you had a positive experience. There are a few films I want to see, if I can get over my chronic laziness and get myself out of the house!
hi joe, have heard of this film but have not seen it or the other ones. sounds like it could be ok if it holds my interest, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, take care, rob
The other 2 are a must watch!!!
Thanks

You think there is room for a Day Two? Sequel?
Apparently the other two movies were Day 2 and beyond! This here is a prequel, or The First Day.
The other two are interesting for me they are worth watching at least once thanks for the review it helps me out I was going to go see it
It's certainly worth seeing.
Nice review my friend take care man.
Boring movie, great review
