Great review! Just tried these and they are simply superb! Might be a little bright at times especially for brass but never to the point of being overbearing. The bass is so unique, feels physical, more live like live music bass in indoor concerts. Actually, these IEMs make a lot of things sound more 'live'. Very well textured; you can almost feel what material each instrument is made of. Gotta start saving up..
I actually tried both just now and I'm gonna get the odyssey instead. Both are great with bass due to the bone conduction tech, RN6 is even more pronounced and wow when I first tried on. The problems then come, you will get tired very quickly from them. I crave more but the bass man. Odyssey I would say is best of both worlds! Very very good bass which u can feel it too but not as strong as RN6.
Just placed an order on the last universal set hoping I’d enjoy these, Do you think the RN6 a better all rounder than the XE6 and how do they compare it terms of technical performance? Also what would be similar to RN6 in the TOTL world ?
Rn6 is a better as an all around or "desert island" IEM than Xe6. It's tough to make a direct comparison for Rn6 to other TOTL. It's similar to some of 64 Audio and Vision Ears TOTL IEMs, but with the added realism of the kinetic bass.
From your list, I feel like Radon6 and Mentor are just different flavors of the same sort of sound you're getting from U12 and the Anole VX. If you want that, then Radon6 is probably my personal pick for what I would take home of the whole bunch. Ronin and Odyssey would be more dramatically different - with Odyssey combining the insane technical performance with maybe just a little too bass much for something more fun and exciting. Ronin's treble is really extraordinary and it hits in a way that's really unlike anything else out there.
It ruined everything. Solaris SE, Mest MK2, Andromeda Gold. Only my Legend X maintain bass supremacy. The Rn6 with red modules are insane on the Mojo2 and the RU6 and BTR7 aren't half bad.
1 BC + 1 DD + 4 BA + 1 EST at 3.299$ yes that ridicolous and overpriced. I don't know how much costs the bone conduction thing, but the dd probably costs to them less than 100$ also if it is high quality. Every BA for what I know costs between 10-50$ and the EST costs 200$ if I remember correctly. Probably the real value is 600$ at max.

As always, Excellent review, Steve!! Thank you!!
Great review! Do you prefer the Radon 6 or Empire Ears Odyssey?

I heard both as well and I preferred the RN6 😁.

Post Malone uses one. But most used iems in industry are 1. U18T, 2. UE Live, 3.JH Roxanne.
I wonder how these compared to u18t and roxanne.
The RN6 is in another league.
if someone can help, I like details in my bass, especially on bass guitars where notes are hard to hear. Is the radon 6 a gd choice or the odyssey?
What would be more logical to add to collection of u12t, and Abole vx? Odyssey, Ronin, Mentor or Rn6?

@@resottolamontagna904 R & D costs money. Of course the price of anything broken down is way less.
