I tried the JConcepts Landmine tires with pro line double stage and they were so so but using the hard part of pro line with cut original foam, they worked very well

The Landmines ARE better than the Stock bricks, but I like even softer...
Maybe a softer outer Foam would work.

My hopes are high that the stock tire performance can be improved upon, a soaking in 303 Protectant and some softer two stage foams. They have a very realistic appearance and I want to run them, but so far my own experience with the Landmines on my TRX-6 and VS410 have been a great upgrade.
Terra Quest RC soak them in wd40. And better 2 stage foams will also help
@@mojaverc1585 CI Comp two stage are enroute. The 303 instead of the WD40 is that the 303 is water rather than petroleum based, same principle happens to the tires as those that try to use petroleum based oils in their shocks. It is a short term satisfaction, kind of like when everyone thought that using ArmorAll was good for car tires... in fact it increased the chance of Weather Checking.
But it says right in the article that the rubber in the tires needs exercised. Got too many vehicles to try and run them often enough.

But we will see how it holds up, my guess is that by next year.. rc tires will be the least of my worries.

Hey exo, i just got mine yesterday and i will be putting it together this weekend. Have you figure something out about the dig and shift servo? My LHS didn’t have any in stock and the spektrums are out of stock everywhere.
Hopefully the RTR comes with a lower CG body and then that is available to people who have the kit...maybe a Gladiator, but even maybe a pickup. The hidden body mounts are cool and it’d be nice to preserve that

Try the tape measure climb with the body off. I think the stock body is just so heavy it helps unload the rig.
Hey man, this rig is 6.5lbs with out the electronics. So how much weight ready to run?
Why do I hear a clicking coming from this rig? And are you still using the overdrive gears in the from? Also liking all the 10 III videos.

I'm thinking about trying a set of the Krazy Krawler foams for the stock tires... never used them before
They're crappy. I used to cut my foams like that 10 years ago lol. Dual stage foams are far superior.
Have you sorted out the noise in the drivetrain?
when is someone going to address the clicking and horrable sounding gear box and stop acting like its not a problem or normal,this is not normal

Yes in Optimus 3 I did. Still got stock foams in the other set.

Great comparison my rc brother 👍🏻 2 questions what 2 stage foams do you use and do you always vent your tires? If so can you make a how to im scared im gonna damage my tires
Take a leather punch and put 3 holes in the tire like a triangle. Can even use a drill and the the same but do it slow. Remember to do it between the tread.
Yep when the foams seal up the vent hole in the center piece, I vent with a small hole punch. About 1/8” in diameter or 3mm.

Clicking sounds like the spur/slipper slipping? And for what's it worth...id leave that one are the way it is you have all the other coarse done leave that diffrent.
