Awesome event with action all day, organiser's and marshal's done a fantastic job, a great turnout of competitors and spectators and media crews. Let's Hope this becomes a regular on the calendar again 👌
Welsh fibreglass Ford Cortinas to some people😂. Interesting machines that were sadly a bit costly for 60's and early 70's Britain, especially as they had taxes imposed on them for being 'kit cars'!
@@PescaraProductions I thought Kit Cars of this era got around purchase tax. What taxes were imposed on them as I'm unfamiliar ( I own a few kit cars from this period and always love learning more)
Guessing he's fresh out of friction material. From experience it is quite surprising just how quickly that last 1/4 inch of brake pad can vanish on a stage.
Seem quite popular these two do, I know the chap with the grey one seems to do a lot of work on them. Could have sworn there was one racing in HRDC a few years ago as well
Unfortunately a lot of rallies are nestled away on Facebook posts and some you'll never even know about unless you're signed up to the car club that runs them. Part of the reason we've started doing lot of rallying is due to this, they really could do with the promo
I remember years ago (80s) in sneyd green stoke on trent a load of guys turned up doing doughnutting at the "supreme salt" factory, can anyone remember this? there were fiat strada's, minis, capris and escorts
To me, it feels like if you know lots of people and cars are going to struggle with a corner, don't put metal posts there that ruin everyone's cars... Organizers should do better to save people from unncessesary bills which could otherwise be spent on upgrades instead of repairs.
We need more of this than ever.
Holy Sh!t, a Gilbern Invader rallying 😳
There were two of them never expected to see that 👍

Great video enjoyed that
Nice to see the Gilberns being used in anger rather than just being looked at. Well done
These must be the only two being used regularly in anger in the world I'd think
Not nice to see the fibreglass getting shattered
@@richardjackson5380 Hopwfully not far from the moulds with this being Wales and all
Gilbern Owners Club can supply panels they have the original moulds.
Toll gemacht, trotz der Schwierigkeiten😎👍
Happiness is a RWD Ford Escort!
0:10 I do not know this car, could you tell me which model and what brand it is ?
I think it's a Gilbern. Quite rare for a rally car. There is another later on.
Great footage @PescaraProductions
Great idea to line the stage with boulders. Doh!
No track limits violations here 😉
great track for smashing cars
Grey gilbern doesn't sound like a V6 wonder what lumps in it
Possibly a smaller Ford engine? I believe the red one is Honda powered !
Mercedes 190E.
Gatepost sponsored by which panel supply co?
0:12- what car?
Gilbern.

It's a GILBERN INVADER MK3, I own one myself.
Which car is the first one on the video? Anyone knows?
Gilbern Invader. and grey car number 51.
nova is sending it with no breakes left😂
The nova. Can some explain to me why it looks like he's put his front brake pads in back to front. Hehe. Awesome action tho
Remember when f1 cars spread sparks e every time the titanium skates touched the tarmac? Let’s say it is the same principle…😊

Fukme did that bloke total a " gilbern invader" first crash, cnt
Yeah quick know and fibreglass shattered easily repaired though luckily
Never thought I would see a Gilbern being rallied.

@@PescaraProductionsBrilliant, I've never seen them on rally's before.
That first Gilbern looks like he's played too many video games and just rides the walls to get around.
Wish I knew about this, would have gone…

Bin involved in lots of tarmack cars, not driving preparing, but the abuse these boys do, would make ya resign
