Enjoyable reactions and commentary from A-Aron and Chris. Very interesting idea that Angelina at 18, was finally able to perform this song, in the way she desired at age 8. The beauty of a jazz singer, they will sing the same song differently each time. We are truly the lucky ones, to enjoy every version.
Super, super reaction to a very special song and the amazing vocals of our goddess of music, a beautiful soul. This lovely teenager knows how to touch our souls with her love, grace, humility, and that unbelievably gorgeous voice. Thank you Aaron, Chis. It was a pleasure. When Angelina sings, magic is in the air.
Aaron I’ve been bursting with excitement for you to hear her sing MFV at 16! Aaron and Chris, thank you so much for this fabulous presentation..I enjoyed every second! 🙏 I’d love her to perform this with KORK.. Aslo can’t wait for your live look at her EP!
The only vocalist in my 64 years that can reach in and touch your heart and melt it down! 10 years old and working the camera like a professional! Great job guys! 🇳🇴🇺🇸💯
Fun reaction! I love 16 and 18 year old AJ versions, but 10 year old Angelina truly touches my heart. I look forward to 20 year old AJ's changes. So looking forward to the concert! Those first three rows are going to be crazy! Its harder for me now to get up for those standing ovations, but I'll make it happen for Angelina.
Wow, beautiful reaction, a thousand thanks to both of you, Angelina is super exciting, all her versions are special and fill my heart, greetings, thank you and Angelina forever
If they had recorded this in a smoky piano bar in black and white, reminiscent of the late 1940’s, every man would have lost his mind, which is exactly why they didn’t do it. Jordan can do that some time in the future when it’s more age appropriate. Although she did sing in a bar in the TV show Lilyhammer at age 8 lol!
Two comments: the depth and complexity of Angelina’s vocal toolkit is extraordinary. She only uses such a small amount of those tools on any given song, but there’s range, technique, vocal dynamics, and limitless texture she can tap into so effortlessly. She’s always known, even as a very young child, that she doesn’t need to flaunt those tools. She lets the song dictate what it needs. It surprises me that for the live concerts AJ has done in the past couple years, there is no professionally recorded sound track. We rely on cell phone audio and video, and it obviously is not good. How could these concerts not be recorded? My favorite version is AJ at 16. Perhaps it’s the poor recording, but I didn’t think the Vegas music added anything to Angelina’s vocals.
IF she is getting better and better, I can't really point it out or notice it. I think all 3 versions are just epic in their own way. Angelina is not just an ordinary singer.
In other words this was Angelina's journey to the masterclass and best cover of "My Funny Valentine"......Same thing with "Unchained melody and many other great songs.
I guess you can call it visioned, but she always had greatness thrust upon her, this is what I believe: Since Angelina started singing till the present, I believe there is no growth, she just always had the greatness since she started. But her little body could not handle what she already had (in terms of what her vocal chords can do). So while she grew older what she always had became clearer and clearer. God gave her this gift, and I'm still waiting for her full vocal maturity, that is where it will all come out, what God gave her.
@TroyArchAngel Agree with most of what you say except that she is not continuing to learn and get better. It seems clear to me, especially after Old Enough, that she continues to experiment with each new thing she hears and learns of. Example: What started with simple layered vocals on 7th Heaven became the whole Old Enough. She found not only the ideas from new people but also studio capabilities that she never had access to when she signed with Republic Records and the changes from her earlier recordings at 12 to her latest recordings are a reflection not just of her physical growth but her continual evolution in terms of new experiences and opportunities. Just because she was a genius as an 8,9,10, 11, or 12 year old musician doesn't mean she doesn't continue to grow and learn new things. Whole worlds of collaborative and technical opportunity became available to her when she moved to LA and signed with Republic Records. Old Enough and Driving Home For Christmas are two very different EP's that are examples of both of these areas of her continuing growth. The fact that she was so good as a young child tricks you into thinking that the only improvement is because of her physical growth. Like I wrote in a comment above, if you took her 10 year old mind and magically put it into her 18 year old body you would then be able to hear more clearly the vocals that 10 year old Angelina heard in her mind but that her small 10 year old body couldn't make real in the physical world. I believe that hybrid Angelina would be a phenomenal vocalist, but I don't think that she would be the same as or have the same capabilities as the real current Angelina. You don't really mean to say they would be the same, do you?
@@Pyanfar Experiences makes you better obviously, but I believe she was born with a gift that makes these experiences as extras. For example, if you take her mind when she was 7 Gloomy Sunday and put it in her at 18 and sings the song now it would sound like Billie is singing exactly, because that is what she was going for on that audition. It's like her mind already knew pro singing level but her vocal maturity didn't let her bring out what she had in mind. She is a genius level musician/vocalist, she hears and possibly sees stuff that give her ideas how to make better or how to improve. I don't mean to say this as a flack but I myself consider myself to be a great mathematician (not gonna say genius) which is why I believe this. If you write on a paper a sum I can solve it without touching the paper or write on it. I make the sum in my mind no matter how long it is. My mind is capable of holding answers while making other calculations while keeping numbers on hold to use later without writing. Then I'll write the final answer on the paper and will be the correct answer. All this mentioned in few seconds. In other words I understand when someone has a gift, and how it makes them unique, my teachers in class use to stop me from giving answers out when they write a sum on the board like "Troy, I know you already know the answer, lets give chance to the others". And he goes on to do the sum writing the long sum on board and how you get to the answer part by part. This is what Angelina has, but in musicianship and artistry. Me myself I always had this gift, what I did to get better with my gift is further getting better in how long of a sum I can make in my head. This stuff comes with experience, but it's already in you and your capabilities, you just have to do longer sums until you expand those capabilities. You can disagree with me, but I believe Angelina has a gift and the only thing in her way is vocal maturity and obviously the experiences and opportunity the industry gives her. Because people with gifts, they only need to experience it once and they'll know a lot in few seconds, that other people would take them days or months or even years to get it if they ever will. Another example about myself and my Maths teachers, they only taught me once how to make a sum, and within a day of making my homework and back to school, I already knew more than my teachers in how to work the sum and how fast in my mind. So people with gifts only need to experience once after that they flourish. I know what you mean and that is what most people think it is. But I believe it's much more than just normal development about Angelina. Which is exactly what I mentioned above in my original comment.
@TroyArchAngel Oh! You have misunderstood me. I know she has a gift and believe that she is a genius. What I am saying is that as she has aged, obviously, her physical capability to sing has allowed her to manifest in the physical world what she had conceived in her mind much earlier. What I am saying is that from that already high starting point, she continues to grow in terms of her product, what it is that she shares with the rest of us. To sing as she does now requires not simply raw capacity of comprehension but the integration of acquired knowledge and immense hard work as well, and that process continues. And by this process, she improves continually.
@@Pyanfar Sorry my English ain't that great as I'm with numbers 😅 . Yeah what you mean exactly here but faster than any normal singer or "considered great artist nowadays". Normal artist gets the idea and work on it for months or years. She just gets it and works on it for a day or even hours. It's the difference between gifted individuals and the normal ones that want to be an artist.
@TroyArchAngel Ah! I understand what you mean now. Yes, I agree that she can get an idea and go from there to a high-quality finished product much faster than a mere mortal. In fact, I would offer the example of her singing Stay accompanied by Ivan as a perfect example. She is reading the lyrics and creating her very high quality and emotive vocal interpretation in real time as she sings this song, which she has never sung before. She creates it at the same time as she reads the lyrics while singing it! If that doesn't prove that she is gifted well beyond any normal singer, I don't know what would.
The antique furnishings store rendition is the most sensual presentation of the song I have ever experienced. I believe her mom Sara decided to 'overdub' the vocals on top of the visuals so that she wouldn't be perceived as a 'sultry' lounge singer but simply a beautiful, teenage girl who is innocently daydreaming as she meanders through the establishment in the video.
Exactly. Jordan has an innate sexuality about her that is ignored by her fans because they have known her since she was such an innocent little girl, and don’t want to admit that it is one of her attributes, and why so many men are attracted to her, not just because of her beauty. Some women are beautiful but have no sensuality, some women are sensual but are not beautiful, some are both like Marilyn Monroe and the whole world goes wild over them and they become superstars and icons forever. In her case, it also helped that she could sing, dance, and was a great comedienne and actress. Another victim of the Kennedy family tragedy syndrome! The CIA sure killed off a lot of that family and people involved with them!
Great video Aron & Chris, very insightful comments. I'm loving these mini-series showing her musical evolution of the same song over time. This song has been one of my all-time favorites for over 50 years. It's been recorded by over 600 singers & I've heard all the famous, legendary versions & I like her 16 yo version the most. It's the more technical, precise, version which is professionally recorded & sounds like it should be in a Musical on Broadway. I think the 18 yo version is her "adult" sexy lounge singer version That should be in a 50's or 60's Private Eye movie. If the 18 yo version was professionally recorded, I would probably rank them equally, but in totally different styles. Thanks for a very enjoyable hour.
Great to see this joint reaction Aaron and Chris! Just after you started I paused and did some homework and went back and listened to Funny (not Bad!) Valentine performances by Ella, Chet Baker, and Frank Sinatra. Angelina does sound closest to Ella's, but even her 8-9yo interpretations differed in interesting ways (melody, some timing), and previewed what she would do in these later masterpieces. I think I agree with Aaron that she had a vision for how this song should be sung, and it took practice and refinement as she leapt ahead in Angelina-years to get to these 16 and 18yo ones. I DID get to witness the Vegas performance live, thankfully. As she is wont to do, she slowed the tempo down even further for this latest live version, and it was stunningly good. And I loved the trumpet playing, he nailed it and deserved the smile and nod he got from Angelina. Very much looking forward to meeting you both in LA! (Chris we somehow missed each other in Portsmouth and Vegas).
@@A-AronReacts WOW. Just did. I'm not a jazz afficianado but that was sublimely beautiful . Being used to Angelina as my primary jazz gateway, It's a bit odd not hearing vocals...but there are times when it almost sounds as if Miles is talking with his trumpet 😲. And the rest of the quintet were superb. Must have been incredible to have been in the audience for THAT performance. Finally, I wonder if Angelina has listened to much instrumental jazz? Thinking that she is a musical sponge, I'd guess at least some.
Oh there is no doubt she has. I'd bet at least the top 50 jazz albums she probably knows by heart. Just like I literally I know (or did 20 years ago lol) every note on the blue train ALBUM, kind of blue and several others, I'm sure she has some she has completely consumed. That said, she CLEARLY has studied the classic female vocalists more than anything
Oops! You might want to edit your comment where you said Bad Valentine instead of My Funny Valentine. It would be fun to hear Frank try to sing that...lol.
I'll be there, be at Foxy's restaurant at noon on the 20th of Sept with my wife. Told some other Angels wanting to join us will be appreciated, God Bless!
I loved your reaction gentleman. Thank youth for your continuing reactions and analysis of her work. I hope to meet you guys in LA so hopefully there will be a gathering somewhere before the concert. Chris ,I saw you in Portsmouth, but it was from afar. This is a stunning young woman who deserves everything that comes to her way in her career. LA guys!!!
Hey Aron ...just watched ur reaction to AJ's Funny valentine with Chris Walker , loved it, was one off ur best ones my friend 😊👍 Liked ur thoughts about Angeline knew where she wanna do to that song when she was younger. She always have had that voice, but her body wasn't ready for it yet, now she's grown into it almost hehe. Yeah and to think she's just 18 imagine in 5 years how she gonna sound like blows my mind 😱😱😱 I really envy u going to that concert, like Chris said the videos u heard, is nothing compared to hear and see her LIVE my friend 🥰 looking forward to the next one buddy take care an stay safe 😊👍
Wow great reaction, I really wish I could go to the concert, it is only an hour away from my daughter who I live with when I am in the U.S. But I am in the Philippines taking care of my husband, he has dementia and I am the only one he will let take care of him. My place is with him for now. Someday I will see her live. ❤❤❤
As a jazz musician, I appreciate the last version as Angelina the musician melding with band as a true ensemble creating a unified piece of art. Many of her fans view the band as a mere backing track to her vocals. I appreciate that, but jazz as an art can be so much more and it shines through in the Vegas performance. I look forward to many collaborations with other great artists in the future. Her Christmas album gave us a taste of what is to come from Angelina on the stage with other musical greats. As good as the video was, it did not show the impact of her voice live in this performance. Pure goosbumps. Hypnotic.❤
@A-AronReacts Jazz and Classical Guitar. I'm currently doing sound for an ensemble called Jazzmania Live. We are doing our first Amphitheater Show on Sept 14th in South Park, Allegheny County, PA, but I'm just as excited to hear Angelina in Glendale on the 20th.
❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 Thank you, Aron and Chris! Aron, I don't recall if it was on one of your reviews or not, but when I first became aware that Angelina was a genius was when I realized that as a young girl, she was singing songs not just in the moment but as she heard them in her mind. I advocated for a thought experiment as a sort of proof of her genius whereby Angelina's 10 year old mind could be placed into her 18 year old body. Then imagine what she would sound like. She was hearing things that she knew she couldn't do, but after many different videos, I finally understood that she wanted to try anyway, and that effort was what made her who she is as a singer. Since I, like you, am a new angel, I am able to jump back and forth from 6 to 18 years and compare. It is seeing these comparisons that led me to decide that the young Angelina was a genius.I have watched 5 year old reviews where people allude to her genius and I wonder what they saw then that made them say that, like you did when you watched I Put A Spell On You, without the benefit of seeing her future self. I am not a musician nor really a conesseuer of music but just a basic rock and roll listener who stumbled upon Angelina and have been trying to catch up every since. She is now my favorite vocalist and I have virtually forgotten about classic rock and now, thanks to Angelina, am not just listening to all by her and about her that I can find but am tracing her influences and it has been like discovering new worlds that I really didn't understand existed. You are a part of my education, and for that, I want to say thank you.😊
To be fair, I imagined and believed that she "foresaw" but until this mini series it was never so perfectly and plainly clear that she absolutely, unequivocally envisioned what it SHOULD sound like a full decade before she could do it and perfected her craft over those 10 years. It's INSANE actually
@A-AronReacts One of the things that became clear to me early in my Angelina journey was that she was an experimental singer. By this, I mean she has taken on so many genres as if she was looking for things for her to use. This really hit home for me when Old Enough came out. At first, I didn't know what to make of it because it was so different from what she had been doing previously. Then I decided that it was probably that after signing with Republic Records some two years earlier, new things were made available to her that she did not have access to previously. Not only new collaborative opportunities but new studio capabilities. My first reaction was something like, Oh my God, they have overproduced this. Then, the more I listened to it, I realized it wasn't really like anything else I had heard before. She had a whole new world of studio techniques to play with in her musical toy box. I heard a story about something that happened while making that EP. It seems that one of the producers was playing one of the tracks they were working on that had different things from some of the earlier versions, and Angelina happened to walk in while he was listening and she said " What's that sound that came in just then? It shouldn't be there." He reportedly removed it and realized that she was exactly right. It was better without that sound. He told the story pointing out how acute her musical sensibilities are. Many angels have noted that just when you think you understand Angelina, she comes up with something different that you didn't expect. I think she is constantly evolving, and that what she has done may not predict where she will go. So far, I am enjoying where she goes, and I hope to continue this journey for as long as I have left.
@@Pyanfar This is a wonderful comment Pyanfar. I have been following Angelina for over 8+ years now and understand your sometimes bewilderment at what this young lady can do with her music. I have watched and read everything I can find about this marvel of music but still sometimes cannot understand her talents. Happy to have you along for this journey and for being an Angel.
@CarlD70 Thank you, Carl, that's very kind of you to say that. I am going to the concert on the 20th to see her live for the first time. My cousin and I are flying out to LA from Texas prior to the concert and then flying back home that same evening. We have animals who need to be cared for so we can't stay away long. We will be awake for almost 24 hours by the time we get home, so we are hoping that everything goes smoothly and that there are no delays in either the flights or the concert. Thanks again for your kind comment.
Great reaction from two of my favorite reactors. Personally, I think my favorite version is the 16 year old one. The 18 year old one, along with some of the other Vegas videos, made Angelina's voice sound harsher. It's probably due to the room acoustics or the venue's sound system. Thanks again for this mini series. Any idea what's next?
A-Aron, I watched this again. I was there in Las Vegas in the audience when this phenomenal supernova event happened. Like Chris, this was the greatest concert I ever attended. The audience was captured, silent, and mesmerized.... I truly believe that the inspiration for her performance came from deep in her soul and the love she has for her grandmother. This will be my third concert of hers and I look forward to seeing you, Chris, and all my Angel friends again.
The antique shop version is like a most tasteful saxophone solo. Notice how she leave us with a suspended note before the piano interlude, having us know there’s more to come. Then at the end of the song, she lets that note resolve in the most satisfying, spectacular manner.
A-Aron all that I anticipated and more! Great to have Chris along for the ride/ show. Watching Angelinas interview during her AGT show yesterday gave me the idea you might consider. How about doing a series with a progression of her interviews concerning her book. Ending perhaps with her singing Princess of ruins.❤❤❤😊
Like you, I have heard some of the 'imperfections' from young Angie at times, but I never thought about what you summarized about her vision of the final product. It's hard to imagine that an eight year old could envision her future capabilities, but in Angelina's case, I think you are right. She is special in so many ways. ❤
I think I'm going to create another video where I show those performances back to back and demonstrate exactly what I heard. It's truly unreal. Unfathomable really
@@A-AronReacts I am reminded of the video of Angelina singing at 18 months and where if you watch her face and eyes you have this incredible feeling that the music is flowing through her mind even that that very young age.....
@@geoffreynorth9046 Yes, you can clearly see that she is intently listening and studying the music. At 1 1/2, she understood more about music than I ever will 🤣.
This subject is fascinating to me. Most people would perform a song using the tools and techniques that they were capable of doing at the time, knowing they would improve with time. But not Angelina. She didn't care and put it out there for the world to see, knowing that her high bar would eventually be cleared.
Hi A_Aron. Great reaction by both of you. One thing I want to say about Angelina is that if She sings the same song 3/5/10 times you'll get 10 different renditions. Who else does that? Most singers once they've reached their best they stick to it. Not Her. She's like a prism with multiple facets and every single time She makes you look from a different one of them to give you a brand new emotion. I'm going to show off a bit now. So what? On july 7th 2022 in Kongsberg Norway Chris and I were front row shoulder to shoulder filming the concert.👍👏🫶👋
Fantastic reaction nice to see chris there last 2 versions epic vocals i love the piano in 16 yr old version i still think she can play around with this song and take it further as she gets older it will be interesting to see ❤❤
Great, informed comments, AA, as usual. And yes, AJ is a complete vocalist at 16. At 18 she takes it full blues lounge. Pair AJ with a band who understands and responds to her genius and there's really nothing better. And yes again, AJ knew where she was going from "Summertime" on NGT.
AMAZING video, A-Aron & Chris! I just had an amazing experience here.... First I was onboard with Chris (I have been ever since Angelina released the version), that her 16 y.o. performance is my favorite rendition of the song ever. However, something about what you said here, A-Aron, and HOW you said it, has made me appreciate her live version THAT much more. To the point where I actually agree with you, and have rearranged my two favorite versions of the song. Another thing that became very apparent to me now, is how visibly engaged Angelina was in her performance. From her stank face to how she moved and how she turned toward the band and so forth. She was REALLY feeling herself, to an incredible degree IMO. Thanks for shedding new light and inputs to this performance for a thick-headed viking skull like myself🔥😊 Much love and respect from Norway goes out to both of you, gentlemen ♥♥♥♥♥
I 🫶🏻 each of these remarkable performances so much. I’m a dad and a grandpa and I can only imagine how incredibly proud her family is. I still get tears flowing watching Angelina’s ten year old performance.
Thank you, Aaron and Chris, this was entertaining and enlightening. You shined a light on Angelina that I don't have the knowledge to comprehend on my own. I have a deeper appreciation for her unique ability to elevate above the music and lyrics of a song to experience the emotion that the originator wanted to express. And in turn, reach us with the depth of that emotion using the beauty of her voice. Angeline is mastering the art of this interpretation consistently, like no one that I have witnessed before.
Great reaction Aron with Chris!! That last version with the band in Vegas is really jazzy. Angelina seems so at home with her collaborative interpretation. Glad you'll be going to the Sept 20 concert. Should be something else!
This is a masterclass on jazz vocals. She can match the best, and she does it with amazing restraint. Really special. Looking forward to meeting you Aaron!
I loved this double reaction: I still find the version "in a chair" especially endearing - one thing I don't think you mention about this which I love is her passion for music which comes through so strongly...
Nice show, guys. One other thing that is fascinating to me.That which isn't mentioned very often. Is that angelina performed those two Vegas concerts back to back the same night.
Great reaction with Chris, Aaron! For many of us, Chris has been a go-to person when it comes to Angelina and learning about her and her music thanks to his videos he has on his BigAngieFan TH-cam page. As her fanbase continues to grow, we have more and more Angels contributing with their own types of videos such as James Thiel, Steve Callaway, Joe Farrell (aka Joeyfarr on YT), and a few others that help promote Angelina and her music. Even though I love all of these versions of My Funny Valentine, her 16 year old version absolutely blew my socks off when I first heard it. It's a masterclass on how to sing this jazz classic. What she does with her voice in this is like riding a emotional rollercoaster of feelings. The is the best version in my opinion....
My Funny Valentine. The profound connection between music and its ability to transcend time is beautifully exemplified in the enduring appeal of Angelina Jordan's rendition of "My Funny Valentine." By far the finest version I have ever experienced in my 77 orbits around the sun. This classic tune, which has been covered by many artists since its debut in 1937, finds a unique and emotive expression through Jordan's performance. Her interpretation bridges the gap between the past and the present, allowing listeners of all ages to appreciate the timeless qualities of the song. It's a reminder of how music can be both a personal journey and a shared experience, resonating with listeners long after the notes have faded. Angelina Jordan's performances, particularly her live rendition in Las Vegas, continue to captivate audiences, proving that true musical artistry knows no bounds. PS. The A Copello ending is to die for!
She seems younger here in the 1st video than she does in the Feeling Good indoor video on stage when she was 10. If i hadn't read that she is 10 in both, i would think that she is 9 at the most in the 1st video. Her 10 and 16 year old versions are superlative, but not too crazy about the Vegas rendition, too slow in some areas for me, although her vocals are always stellar. Great reaction from you 2 Angie fans but a little too much jabbering!!
You are absolutely right about her age Jan 10th - Angelina's 10th bday Feb 14th - Valentine's day Dec 30th - The Stream gir tilbake broadcast some fans even believe the armchair performance was pre-recorded close around her bday
We also need to bear in mind that English is not Angelina's native language. Makes everything she's done -- particularly in her younger years -- even more amazing.
@@Hank-the-Writer If she’s been singing all her songs in English since she was a toddler and taught herself how to sing by watching You Tube videos of the great jazz singers, and has never sung a song in Norwegian in any of her videos, I’d say it’s highly irrelevant!
@@kerrythomas6220 Well, Kerry, as someone on the periphery, you haven't seen all the videos that exist. You know only what everyone else knows who watches TH-cam videos. And, no one, including you, gets to decide what is or isn't relevant. I'd leave it alone if I were you.
@@Hank-the-Writer I have seen every one of her videos that have been posted on TH-cam, TikTok and Instagram by her, her Grandma Mery, Boris Palenovski and anyone else who has ever posted a video of her singing. So don’t post unsubstantiated statements! I’m retired and have nothing else to do but research Jordan and listen to her music!
I can't remember if you have reacted to her beautiful "Every time I say goodbye" on a rooftop in Oslo - but she also sang that "in the chair" when 10 and that is extremely endearing and wonderful too, and rather little known: th-cam.com/video/4c9W5lkU_JM/w-d-xo.html
The Vegas version was a real disappointment compared to the Antique Shop version, which is the most beautiful version of My Funny Valentine I’ve ever heard. Her voice was much too harsh in the Vegas version and the ending was terrible compared to the Shop version, plus she slowed the tempo too much. I believe this is the first time I have criticized anything Jordan has ever done, and I’ve seen every one of her videos!

The only vocalist in my 64 years that can reach in and touch your heart and melt it down! 10 years old and working the camera like a professional! Great job guys! 🇳🇴🇺🇸💯
Goosebumps evey time, never fails, no matter how many times I hear it from her.
Fantastic insight, Aaron.
Great reaction with Chris, one of the greatest supporters of Angelina! Each day is "Valentime Day" when Angelina is singing!
A-Aron..... Jazz at it's finest! Appreciate your commentary and watching Chris smiles. You can feel the love.
Good that Chris was pary of his reaction! He is one o5f her greatest fan .love him ❤❤❤❤
Great reaction. There are just no words to adequately describe Angelina except only Angelina can angelina❤❤👣❤❤
Angelina takes us along through the years as she perfects a song!
I absolutely agree with you👍👍👍
IF she is getting better and better, I can't really point it out or notice it. I think all 3 versions are just epic in their own way. Angelina is not just an ordinary singer.
❤❤❤Love Angelina❤️❤️❤️
I cried with you guys through this, despite having watched it many times before. Simply stunning..

I believe her mom Sara decided to 'overdub' the vocals on top of the visuals so that she wouldn't be perceived
as a 'sultry' lounge singer but simply a beautiful, teenage girl who is innocently daydreaming as she meanders
through the establishment in the video.
Do yourself a favor and listen to Miles:

@@A-AronReacts WOW. Just did. I'm not a jazz afficianado but that was sublimely beautiful . Being used to Angelina as my primary jazz gateway, It's a bit odd not hearing vocals...but there are times when it almost sounds as if Miles is talking with his trumpet 😲. And the rest of the quintet were superb. Must have been incredible to have been in the audience for THAT performance. Finally, I wonder if Angelina has listened to much instrumental jazz? Thinking that she is a musical sponge, I'd guess at least some.
@@A-AronReacts Thanks for that link! Miles is one fo the all-time greats for sure..
Great Job guys. Looking forward to seeing you in Los Angeles.
I'll be there, be at Foxy's restaurant at noon on the 20th of Sept with my wife. Told some other Angels wanting to join us will be appreciated, God Bless!
It was great joining in with you on this Aaron! Hope to see you soon in person in Glendale.

Chris & A-Aron. Awesome! 🍁
I see ur face u look so proud like a dad I felt the same way at 10 years old singing a ANGEL 😇
Hypnotic.❤
Nice! What do you play?
Great comment - quite agree
@A-AronReacts Jazz and Classical Guitar. I'm currently doing sound for an ensemble called Jazzmania Live. We are doing our first Amphitheater Show on Sept 14th in South Park, Allegheny County, PA, but I'm just as excited to hear Angelina in Glendale on the 20th.
She still has her Germanic "L" pronunciation here.

One of my favorite vocal performances, and so addictive, from angelina jordan astar
Chris Walker! So cool...
You are a part of my education, and for that, I want to say thank you.😊
Thanks so much. I have seen many of your comments and really appreciate you
To be fair, I imagined and believed that she "foresaw" but until this mini series it was never so perfectly and plainly clear that she absolutely, unequivocally envisioned what it SHOULD sound like a full decade before she could do it and perfected her craft over those 10 years.
I saw Chris in Portsmouth, New Hampshire probably 5 feet from me but I didn't get a chance to introduce myself.
She opens up well known songs to me. For the first time I really hear the lyrics! And songs I didn't care for becomes beautiful performances. 🤩❤💔💥
Two of the best angel reactors together. EPIC !!!! Very interesting comments.
Thanks so much!
Angelina at 10 years old is simply divine. Counting the days to her concert. 🇨🇦
I did a double reaction with James Thiel that is coming soon. I won't ruin the surprise on what but.... it's a good one 😁
@@A-AronReacts OK, I will wait for the surprise. James and I have exchanged comments a number of times. Looking forward to it!
That sounds fun. Feel free to compile a list and email me at aaronreactsyt@gmail.com

@@geoffreynorth9046Agreed...I reacted to that one btw
I love it!!!
The 16 year old video is just plain Sultry! The early ones are remarkable and the 18 year old live is much jazzier. Everyone of them is outstanding!

Fantastic reaction nice to see chris there last 2 versions epic vocals i love the piano in 16 yr old version i still think she can play around with this song and take it further as she gets older it will be interesting to see ❤❤
the 16 Year version is the best I every heard.
One of my absolute faves from Angelina , Great Reaction Guys

Thank for your analysis, I am now listening to this song in a new light. I will be going to the concert in California, I hope to meet you all there 🎶
And here, in the second one, it's gone!
I listen through a stereo with nice speakers and it sounds awesome. Great video y'all! 😎🇺🇲👍🌟💯
Great reaction Aron with Chris!! That last version with the band in Vegas is really jazzy. Angelina seems so at home with her collaborative interpretation. Glad you'll be going to the Sept 20 concert. Should be something else!

I think Angelina is an Angel from heaven ? That would explain her knowledge of her future self ? Think about it ?🤔
Great collaboration, guys! Looking forward to seeing you both in Glendale on 9/20.

Not necessary (for me at least) but thank you
She seems younger here in the 1st video than she does in the Feeling Good indoor video on stage when she was 10.
You are absolutely right about her age
