Absolutely! The "cardio killing gains" concept you mentioned is spot on-but it really depends on the type of cardio you’re doing. LISS is a fantastic choice after a hypertrophy or strength workout because it doesn’t interfere with the mTOR pathway, which is key for muscle growth. On the other hand, HIIT can spike AMPK, which can reduce muscle growth post-weights. It’s all about choosing the right tool for the job!

Front and rear delts get hammered with all of the pushing and pulling from compound moves. Sometimes all you need is a few sets of a good lateral raise movement to bring out the medial delts, and save your shoulders to lift another day!

Hi Sam. Hopefully you'll see the comment. Many on the internet say that cardio immediately after lifting is harmful for muscles growth as you highly likely to burn muscle tissue instead of fat. What does your research show and can you share extended opinion? And I lift and do caardio since February 2024 and follow cutting diet (of course with ups and downs). I managed to lose 21 kg. You have been huge motivation during this journey. So many thanks for your videos and wish you very best.
Hopefully I can shed some light for you : ) the reason the research says it’s harmful, is because after you’re done lifting, your body needs resources to rebuild the muscles. When you do cardio right after, your body is having to compete for resources in two different pathways, the muscle building pathway and endurance pathway.This makes muscle growth less effective. Does that make sense?

If you're a hardgainer (Like I am), then it would probably be wise to follow that advise , at least until you've built a decent physique. But if you build muscle really easily, it probably won't matter that much : D

So it will take a time to get some shape. But I am very motivated for now and will fight till the end even though I will look like shapeless fish probably. Better doing something is better than doing nothing at all.

You should workout at this gym and on the three stack of weight use it to go heavier because you can do three full stacks on one movement for full range of motion
There’s more tension on the rope than the EZ bar. It should be done with lighter weight as a warm up and finisher. I use EZ bar in between to go heavier.
Going on 9 months I’ve been lifting becuase of starting to watch Sam. Looked like a pencil when I started. I’m soooo close to 315 on the bench I can taste it.
Sam question say for triceps I am doing 4-6 workouts for the muscle instead of the normal 2-3. Is there any negatives to that or are the last workouts less effective on the muscle. ❤❤ love the vids

Wouldn't it be better to try and breath so that you can get optimal oxygen to your muscles? I always try to hold my pull ups midway down and I find it better when Im breathing instead of holding my breath. When I hold my breath it feels like im starving my muscles.
