【Ceramic in Japan】Acient SUZUYAKI in Tokyo National Museum (English Caption)

珠洲焼もあり、比べてみるとはっきりと 珠洲焼の特徴 黒色と底の締まった感じが見てとれました。現代の珠洲焼にも引き継がれているその特徴と美の紹介です。

令和6年能登半島地震では、500年の時を経て40年前に復興が図られたばかりの珠洲焼に大きな影響を与えました。この地震で珠洲焼作家が所有する多くの窯が地震で倒壊しました。珠洲焼の美しさと直面している現実に心を寄せていただければ幸いです。皆様の想いが珠洲焼の存続に繋がると思います。
There was an exhibition of Heian and Kamakura pottery at the Tokyo National Museum. (2019)
There is also Suzu ware (SUZUYAKI) jar. Under the comparison, you could clearly see the characteristic of SUZUYAKI which are ”black color” and the ”tightness of the bottom”. And also The marking (log-like) are seen on SUZUAYKI jars.
