Valediction is one of my favorite songs of all time. You guys did this serious justice. Would have maybe liked to see the singer's upper vocal register pushed a bit more, but otherwise, 10/10 cover! Beautifully done!

From back then I know how well Janica's voice works with acoustic guitars. The folky twist Insomnium bring to the table adds a warmth and richness that clarifies: No further layers needed. You guys expressed the pure essence of "Valediction" and paid a great tribute to both the band and the song. Are you working on own material by the way?

Very powerful. Never thought one of my favorite melodeath songs could be translated so well to acoustic, retaining still it's power. After this, I'd like to hear Insomnium - Through the Shadows or Insomnium - While We Sleep from you. :) Or maybe something from Swallow the Sun? If I can say tho, not sure if it would be comfortable for you or not, but I could imagine the refrain even better with a couple of notes lower.
You Guys should definitive create a acoustic HANN Album together. Perhaps with covers also from other bands, like Swallow the Sun, Daylight Dies, Alcest, Novembers Doom, Wolfheart (ha!), October Falls....to name a few... :)
