I'm 56yrs old, been to 1000's of concerts, got to see Pantera over 100 times, big bands, small bands, huge bands, pretty much every genre except rap. I had never heard of Muse until I was flipping channels and caught them performing Supermassive Black Hole on an awards show. I was impressed, so I got youtube to check out some more of their stuff and was even more impressed. When the Resistance tour came to Nashville, I talked a friend into going with me (he's a die-hard Slipknot fan). This show was the absolute BEST concert I have ever seen. When we were walking out my friend even said "this is the tightest band I've ever seen". Almost 15yrs have gone by and I can still remember the entire show.
I saw the set as my first Muse show in I want to say Columbus Ohio and it was one of the most incredible experiences I've had.. between the intro uprising and then when they performed Undisclosed Desires....the intro with a keytar for the synths...breathtakingly beautiful
This is still one of the most creative and iconic concert setups ever with those elevated single stages for each of the 3 guys. I am still pissed I never got tickets to this tour - Muse was at the height of their powers and I remember watching the concert playback of this on MTV2.

This was the first time I ever saw Muse perform. Such a dope intro. But I always thought the laser beam were reflecting from his guitar, still dope tho!
I was sitting behind those big pillars thinking I was going to get a bad view of the whole concert, i couldn't see the opening band which was silversun pickups but boy was i gladly mistaken
I give MUSE a round of HELLYEAH's for their really cool sound. But shit the much respect they deserve for the balls MUSE had when they played at the grammys in 2011 and told Obama and the other uber rich Hypocritical Hollywood liberals to suck it by dropping the " Dont Tread On Me " flag from ceiling to floor made me all happy inside! Also a big up yours goes out to Lucas for not only destroying my happy memories of STAR WARS but giving Jet Lee another reason to come back into our universe and kick our asses again for putting out the pinker side of the force!!!!
I think you got that wrong. These guys would be for doing anything to stop the spread. The uprising part is against all of you who sat there doing nothing to save your neighbor while believing every stupid conspiracy theory on the planet. You’re not the hero in this equation. You are the enemy.

I saw #SilversunPickups in a bar in 2012 and they were phenomenal live. I bet they were a perfect opener for Muse.
