Big fan of all of your IOD builds. Can't wait for your next one. Im waiting for dlc too though, not a whole lot to do other than pvp once you have everything S ranked.
Hey man great content as always. I was wondering could you do some legend builds on AC6. I loved your nineball build. I'd love to see stuff like Jack-O's foxeye, Genobee's dualface, Zinaida's fascinator and Evangel's AC. Maybe even some more obscure ones like Mathias's funeral mask, Exile's painkiller and Nameless' Mystery
I could be down to do so for sure, honestly I've kinda been waiting for a major update/dlc to release to get back into the game but I've been feeling the itch recently.
It isn't about winning, even ignoring that I also said I don't think these are pay-2-win as is (Edit: The Python mark 2 definitely crosses into p2w if it actually becomes pvp meta like they've hinted they've designed it to be). It's about the developers being incentivized to make the game worse in order to make sales in the shop. I don't think it'll happen, but things like gated access and pre-built ships are the start of a slippery slope if FDev prioritizes profits over their game's integrity.
Elite has been pay to win since horrizons with the awful balancing that it introduced. Anyone without that DLC stands 0 chance. Then if you did buy it the internal balance was also botched because min-maxed ships were impossibly stronger than those of casual ships. People spending thousands of hours grinding were rewarded with basically a god mode vs those who did not. These are big reasons the game is on life support as it is.
@@oceanbytez847 people didn't spend thousands of hours grinding to get that advantage. They mostly just cheated using the old exploit for rerolling without using materials.
At least it isn't too egregious yet and hopefully the backlash makes it clear how the overall player base feels about it. Locking the python mk II behind a 3 month long paywall is super scummy but the pre-built ships are just confusing. They're so offensively bad they come no where close to being p2w but rather are practically grieffing any new player who decides to buy them.

@@Naisarias hopefully we get one soon. Thanks man
@@NaisariasThe only one that I mentioned that could be hard would be Painkiller since it's a hover AC
How many of those chieftans do you have to buy and sell for credits to get a fleet carrier?
If it were sellable, it'd prolly sell for about 50m, so only about 100 of them!
Who cares? Private Group and Solo Play means everybody wins however they want. Open play and pvp are for dinglefarts.

How about instead of making money by scamming their players and selling p2w crap why not actually make a good game? I know... wild idea.
