    Thanks Curtis! My experience using a .05 with an exposed hairline was terrible. I found that no matter what there will be at least one angle where you can see the line clear as day. It may be when you look up or it might only appear in certain lighting but I was told by my family you couldn't see it yet I always saw it and would constantly see people's eyes going up lol

      Some of the units are like that, terrible. Sorry you had issues !! Ive worn our .05 before (did videos with it) and it turned out good. Are you new to this? Do you think you could be over critical about yourself ? Im asking because when I started out I was over critical for sure!

    I'm sure you already covered this question, but how does your scalp breath using poly? When I wear surgical gloves my hands get wet and uncomfortable quite quickly... i imagine poly would feel more or less the same on your scalp

    Do you have a curl chart? Most order forms are straight, slight wave, wavy, etc;....however, the manufacturers do make and you can order the degree of curl of the hair. My hair is neither straight or slight wave. It is inbetween.
    Also, which system produces the most realistic behavior of growing out of the skin. I notice freestyle is very gappy if I want to create a part. If I order a part, it is too toupee looking. V loops is the worst. The hair on the head in real life growns forward on the top, circular at the crown and down at the sides and back.
    Is the 3mm able to handle a daily wash and conscientious removal or is it like saran wrap? Since 1988, still can’t get a truly natural reproduction of how real hair behaves because of the knotting process.

    Does washing the system frequently make it shed more? I actually bought a piece that is too dense, so I actually want it to shed more. It's a poly.I guess I could just pluck, but I'm scared of doing it wrong.

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but it also wears out the hair that is on there. Coloring etc will fade and fail. Plucking all over is way to much work. Have a stylist thin it out for you with some thinning shears and a razor

    Great information buddy, have tried both 0.3 and 0.5, as you said its got to be 0.3 for exposed hairline!! But thinking of a style change, more spiky and messy, so may try the 0.5 again as hairline not going to be as exposed, as Iremember I got about 6 months from the 0.5, which is great!
    Going to another subject, any advise on repairing an inch tear at the side of a 0.3 poly, was a bit careless removing it, dont want to trash it as its only 4 weeks old! 😣

    Hey, Curtis! I assume 0.05 Poly is gonna be even less breathable and heavier on the scalp. I got a little tip for you and all the other guys who wear the Poly. I leave about 3/4" on the back with no tape. Right in the center. It allows my scalp to breathe a little, and I've noticed less itching happening. I would be curious to see a hair line comparison between 0.03 and 0.05!

    • @zac52dedn95
      @zac52dedn95 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you just tape the perimeter of the base and let the center be empty. How does it hold ? do you have issues with it rising up ?

    • @michaelgolodini

      Zac52 Dedn I usually also put some tape across in the center. I don't think Curtis does, but I'm not sure. Once I didn't, it was just fine like that.

    I'm so sad, depressed as hell.. Got a new system I was extremely careful with it, did maintenance 2 times and the hairs just started falling out like crazy.. Lost 30% of the hairs at the front hairline now it looks like crap, I think it was the glue that ruined my system (french lace) and walker ultra hold clear glue.. This is my 4th system in 7 months, I spend over a thousand dollars, and i just dont want to be bald.. Now im literally out of money, and this system that was supposed to last a long time from LordHair just gave up after 3 fucking weeks.... I dont want to be bald, im 21 i cant grow a beard and I look so fucking ugly.. Idk what to do, I was one of those young guys who was thinning on top but nowhere close to bald yet, I actually had a shit load of hair left, but the salloons convinced me, said all this beautiful stuff and that you could let it sit on for four weeks exercise etc, and that it would not damage your own hair and you could go back anytime, False.. My natural hairline has receided so much like 4-5 cm on the edges.. I can never go back to the way I looked. I just cant be happy with myself anymore, balding is such a harsh thing on a man, and especially at my age.. The glue completely ruined my own hairgrowth, and a thousand bucks is almost more than what I earn in a year. I just dont know what to do man.. I can't accept myself with a bald head, I went from a solid 8/10 to a 2/10. People dont even look at me when I dont have hair, but this experience that I had with systems it absolutely demolishes me. The one before this actually lasted me almost 4 months, the other 2 lasted a month and now this one is completely destroyed after 3 weeks.. I dont think its a coincedence that everytime my system got ruined I was using walker ultra hold clear glue, so sticky and messy. Please anyone that is still reading this do not make the same mistake as me, if you are young and you still have a ton of hair don't jump on the hair system train yet, wait till you are completely bald on top or somewhat close, or you will find your self love destroyed. I really want to thank you for everything you have done for me Curtis, you helped me so much to actually take good care of my system, you showed me how to do everything, and I have really enjoyed your videos. I guess I just bought stuff from the wrong companys, I'm so glad that you are having a great experience with your hair, and that your ''business'' is doing well, ah well I wouldn't call it a business as you do this with excitement to help people, and I can see you put your passion and dedication into this. If there where more people like you on this world, who actually care about the people instead of the $$, There would be far less hair ''salons'' taking advantage of young guys with their amazing talks. I guess this is the end of the hair journey for me. As my own natural hair is completely ruined now, and I just can't afford this stuff no more.. Thanks for being you man, you've been of incredible support to me over the past months.

      Little confused with your comments. Are you losing hair on your system or your natural hair? How many different type hair systems have you tried? Thank you for your comments and feedback though, it is going to help and warn others.
      You said one of the system lasted you 4 months, and the new one only 3 weeks. What system lasted 4 months and which one 3 weeks?
      How much time have you allowed for your natural hair to grow? You need to be careful when you are removing the system that you are gentle and do not damage the follicles, once you pull them out when removing the glue they wont grow back.

      You are trying to tell him to do something that YOU want him to do. I don't see the correlation between having wife and a good life, evolution, and the hairpieces. So if someone found a way to look better and be confident, he has to change that because he has a wife? If someone isn't as happy as they want to be they should just succumb to their biological "evolution"? Makes absolutely no sense. Plus, if you watch his videos you saw that he tried the shaved head look for quite some time. Thanks for stopping by, and I know you meant well, but that's not the way it goes. He is a nice guy, and bald isn't the nicest of looks. Maybe someone does not want to look tough and rugged, there's nothing to be proud of that. That is just one example.
