Mike, drill a hole in the fork and make a removable hitch knob. Easy, them your straps and chains won't fall off. And get those extensions forks made, you need them bad.
Smart tip, i have done the same myself on all my forks.

The best part was when he couldn't figure out how to tighten the chain by moving the links the right way. I was dumbfounded at how dumb that was.

Exactly! My grandparents were so frugal but they had a TON of money on both sides. I remember my grandfather telling me "you want to make money while you sleep." And I guess that attitude passed down to my dad (RIP), because I remember going to his house one day and I had bought something I really liked, so I wanted to show it to him. So I said "Look at this!

Mike, I’ve been watching you for years and respect and appreciate the love and work you put into every single build. I try to follow you and watch your videos whenever I can but I’ve noted that recently, your TH-cam videos have become longer and longer. Some are now over an hour long… that’s almost a feature length film! As much as I would love to have the time to watch them, I often just skip over those ones because they are simply too long. Just a suggestion… perhaps keep the videos at the 15-30 minute mark? You could just break up the longer ones into parts 1, 2, and 3. I think it would encourage more viewers to click on and watch. Thank you for sharing your passions with us viewers. Respect, Brother

Just take of the fork attachment and use the frame on the skid steer to lift stuff with or make a hole in the forks.

He will keep a few tributes as its clear he loves his Dad but I get the sense Connor is a bit more of a realist rather then a dreamer? 😊 and for goodness sakes make sure you get the car done for your daughter. Sticky stubborn dry ratchet strap mechanisms respond well to WD-40. Spray them liberally with the WD-40 every time you go to use them if you have to. You'll wonder why you haven't been doing that for 40 years
That outbuilding needs to have pallet racking all down one side, then all the parts lying around could be arranged on shelves properly and save so much space and be so much tidier, that would be a start to tidying the place up, also means not leaving parts just lying around outside to rust away
Also why not put some 40 foot containers along the back of the yard at the base of the hill, would protect the storage area completely and you could fork smaller cars on top of them for storage and store stuff inside too, so much win for not a massive outlay
Mike you need a yard man to help in the yard, while Blair continues his work in the shop! $150 a day, I'll call it a working holiday!.. ill pack a bag now 😉👍💪
