Looking good! I'm ya typical guy who would normally put this together and wonder what the bits left over at the end are for! However, I think this project deserves serious time and effort and of course fun. Like the idea of upgrades and the vibrant stain colours you are chosing for the Les Paul. Happy new year, peace and all the very best for 2022 mate.

Wow! I could only imagine how awesome you're going to make that look! I'm moving my guitars around. I'm selling some and trading others. I want a change. But, knowing me, soon I'll have nearly all Les Pauls with only a few Strats and Teles. I just made a deal with someone locally for a Firefly guitar he has. Once the holidays are over, we're gonna do the exchange. It's a 3-pickup one. Never owned a 3-pickup Les Paul. Should be interesting.
Another guy (about 20 miles away) has one of those IYV Les Pauls I've been looking for. I may trade him a couple of my practice amps for it. Plus, someone's interested in buying my PRS SE Standard 24. So, lots of things going out and some things coming in. After recent events, I need to make some changes. Have an EXCELLENT New Year's Eve, brother. (EDIT: Sorry, brain foggy with current events)
These are pretty nice. I was checking out the Wilkinson kits. They are pretty much unbranded Vintage brand instruments In a box, disassembled. They are super pricey though.
I build the kit with a friend and the front Humbucker won’t work solo but together with the other one so the switch is rubbish, the electronics are the weak point but apart from that is the guitar a steal for the money!
I also contacted him about this guitar. Glad I found this build video so now I can watch it be built.

Yeah the electrics can be easily upgraded
It's a pity that it's already varnished and you can't paint it yourself. we сould make a dream guitar...
You can paint straight on it, for staining it requires sanding back a bit
