A tour of the Cactus Garden at the Auroville Botanical Gardens

This is where the weird and wonderful meet geometry and symmetry. Our cactus garden is now about 15 years old. We can proudly say is a mature garden with the tiny Baobab becoming a tree. This garden was started by Volker for his love of these gorgeous leafless plants.
Some of these plants come from South America, Africa and parts of Asia. Though not indigenous these resilient and low maintenance plants present hope in the face of climate change.
