Hey Chis, just here to say thank you for another great show. For years you help me to start every week with just a little more energy. A big hug from Argentina
Chris, you were actually reading Jenny Sparks #4, not #3. I think you missed issue #3 since I was surprised you didn’t review it when it came out. Issue #3 had the JLA face Capt. Atom. Things didn’t go well so that’s why Jenny is facing him alone in the latest issue. I think the point of issue #4 was to try to hint at why Jenny has returned in the 21st Century. Reading issue #3 may not change your opinion on issue #4, but just thought you might want to judge it more fairly by reading issue #3 if you really did miss it. Keep up the great work!
@ Watching Capt. Atom take out each JLA member in issue #3 was pretty shocking to me. So I would like to think you would remember reading that as well! Also just wanted to add that I picked up this book based on your review of issue #1 so it feels a bit weird that I am still enjoying it and you seem ready to drop it after the latest issue.
Great content, as always! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting a guest on the spot like that. What if Disney got offended and took the job from him, you know? But man, strange comic with really good artwork.
Arnold was born to play Sgt. Rock in the 80's, it's too bad it didn't happen. Craig can do it, but he needs to bulk up a bit. The Rock as Rock would be perfect and allow for a lot of puns to take hold. As a kid I thought Sgt. Rock was much inferior to Marvel's Sgt. Fury, but now I've heard that Rock is much more adult and intelligent than the Fury stories.
An actor with a distinctly Austrian accent playing an American soldier in WWII? I think not. And having the Rock play Sgt Rock so they could shoehorn in some irrelevant and distracting puns? Nope. Also the notion that they need a muscle bound body builder to portray an army Sgt strikes me as a sure-fire reality smasher. Sgt Rock is tough not pumped.
@ Even with the accent Arnold could have pulled it off. In the 90’s there were a lot of Sgt. Rock comic statues, especially at the now defunct Warner Brothers stores, that really had him beefed up like Rambo. As for the puns if The Rock played Rock, I meant that for critics and the public, not for the characters in the story.
@ComicTropesAfterDark Ok thank you for clarifying, I did not know, I will begin rabbit-holing lol. I knew he was on the right, which is completely fine and does not auto mean you are a weirdo, but hateful speech is not cool from anyone in any affiliation. Thank you again for the reply Chris, love the channels! Cheers!
you're entitled to your opinion Chris, but i strongly disagree. Ultimate Spiderman issue 11 was my pick of the week with Batman and Robin year 1 issue 2 as a very close second.
@@ComicTropesAfterDark Uncle Ben and Peters conversation at the end of the book was very enjoyable for me as well as Peters conversation with MJ after the bank heist. The action at the start of the book (which you covered) was also enjoyable. The whole issue was just solid.
Totally fair. I do like the characterization. I guess the ultimate universe has a lot of groundwork to lay. Id like to be surprised a little bit more like I am with ultimate X-men and ultimates.

Hi Chris. I want you to know that your Marvel Method video was fantastic. Like so many of your videos, I learned a ton.
Oh thank goodness, the number of times I have been momentarily stunlocked from seeing you on a channel called Pros and Cons instead of Comic Tropes.😂
Chris looking like he's about to drop a legendary '00s pop-punk / emo album
A Decade Under The Comic Tropes
I'm interested in that alcatraz comic. Christopher Cantwell hasn't let me down yet.
Go speed racer go. Happy Thanksgiving!

I’ll double check whether I read or missed the previous issue. I think I did read it even if I got the issue number wrong.

Daniel Craig was awesome in Tomb Raider. I think ppl forgot about him in that movie.
I wish I could have been awake to ask Jeff Parker if he has read the infamous Zootopia abortion comic

Whats the poibt of an interview if it's not at least half an hour? Keep up the long form interviews if you enjoy them please.
Dungeon Meshi is a really fun comic/manga, you should take a look!
Out of alcatraz the spiritual sequel to oswald's body by csntwell. Sneaky historical fiction series.
Reeeeeee-braaaaaand
USM is slow but holy shit it so much better than ASM.
Im not enjoying Jenny Sparks at all. Dropped it after issue 3.

What did Kevin Sorbo do to be a weirdo?
Went super super far to the right. Lots of hateful social media posts.
