    I'm starting a big H22A prelude build at the moment and been searching what other people have done, what ECU and harness have you used? Traction control/abs module?
    I'm looking to make 450whp to start

      I have haltech and Mario is on fuel tech with are awesome! And they have the ability to utilize traction control. And i deleted my abs like 10 or 12 years ago

    Happy holiday weekend, I wanted ask you something if you don’t mind. Which alternator bracket are you running? I have a boosted h22 in my 6th gen accord. I bought two different aftermarket brackets, the welds keep failing, I lose belts. Idk if the vibration causes them to break. It sucks and is getting annoying because I keep getting stuck on the highway in extreme heat or freezing cold temps. We replaced the alternator before, it seems to throw it off after launching the car. I put 100-200 miles on it before it happens.😣😣😣 any help/advice is appreciated, thank you.

    • @H22PreludeDude
      @H22PreludeDude  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a really old style innovative bracket that has been modified to drop the alt even lower and yes I've had to re weld mine tons of times. Just had to re weld it again 2 months ago. The vibration gets it. The put as much extra bracing on it as you can

      @ImportLenz ปีที่แล้ว

      @@H22PreludeDude thank you for the heads up, I appreciate it. I’m just trying to have fun up and down the highway as much as possible. It’s not my daily, but I’d love to get more time out of it before the bracket fails… yes there is so much vibration up front..

    • @ImportLenz
      @ImportLenz ปีที่แล้ว

      @@H22PreludeDude I have one final question about the alternator and belt. Did you go with a 6 rib 33” belt? The innovative website says 32” for applications where the ac was removed and a balance shaft was removed. Thank you again.

    • @H22PreludeDude
      @H22PreludeDude  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ImportLenz I think mine is 36in. The dayco part number i use is 5060317 but again, mine is modified with a smaller alt pulley so probably different than yours

    • @ImportLenz
      @ImportLenz ปีที่แล้ว

      @@H22PreludeDude ok appreciate the help, I’ll try to reinforce my bracket and see what happens. The 33” one I use is tight so if I do go longer, it would probably fly off with too much slack. Thank you!

    Hey Kevin, I’m doing a power steering delete on my 97, do you have any suggestions for looping the system or trying to go electronic?

    • @H22PreludeDude
      @H22PreludeDude  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A few people I know have used a electronic power steering pump and reservoir from an MR2 I believe. But I used the chase Bay's power steering delete kit with the little tiny Reservoir so it has fluid that's able to be transferred back and forth there's not a ton of room and you have to get really creative with mounting it though

    It looks like your front tires need a little more air maybe 8 psi to 12. Play with it. The lag of the tire not sticking spinning and taking off on time.If on time will make an easy 5 second. I notice your take off is always like half second or a second off lagging. Gotta work on the take off like the last video. If you can take off fast like that woman driver from that last video. You got a 5 sec or 4 second car. Keep upgrading and back to your drawing board get better. We all prelude owners are counting on your mark. Keep them videos uploaded on your indoor mechanic garage progress. Teach the other owners the how to like your old videos and thank you for thinking a head of the game leader board.

      Thanks for the input man! I think we were running the pressure around 7-9. We did figure out why we were getting so much tire shake. This new year we will get the front half figured out for sure. And we got a new clutch slipper valve
