2 died during the mine explosion itself, and 1 drowned being one of the last Engineers to leave the ship and not being able to find a Life Jacket in time
There were 2 boats. With the first boat, the propellers were barely out of the water. So nobody realized until it was too late. All 30 occupants of the 1st boat perished. Meanwhile, with the 2nd boat, everybody had jumped out before the propellers could destroy it because at that point they were well out of the water. All 30 deaths came from the 1st boat to hit the propellers. One did survive initially but died on Kea a few hours after the ship had gone down
Just imagine, if the lifeboat crews had waited a few more minutes, quite possibly everybody could have survived the sinking of the Britannic 😥

But no one realized the danger that was coming? I would have jumped into the water and swam with all my might.
Yea
And so it happened with Violet Jesep, she said that people all started jumping, she looked and saw the propellers
Well, they got sucked anyway, but she just hit the bottom of the Britannic
The propellers sucked them in

What happened to the oars before it crushed by propeller?
I don’t think that propeller is at scale lol those things were massive 😮
The propeller is indeed at scale; the lifeboats were also massive ;)
@@DerpyPossum no the propeller are much bigger also titanic propellers are big but the britannic is a bigger ship and will have have bigger propellers
@@ThePug1207 Britannic was only larger in width and tonnage. Everything else had the same dimensions as on Olympic and Titanic.
@@DerpyPossum i think like a few inches or cm longer and Britannic had larger props
The propellers are at scale. They just weren't that high out of the water when the boats were sucked into them unlike the 2000 movie.
its sad that 30 people were killed as the ship sank
Sadder around 10k people died in wilhem gustolff
@@manuelbejaranomoreno7729 yes even more sadder than the yamato
