it sounds plausible, she should have got her own lawyer, before she told him anything about a divorce. Its too late now. Her name must not have been on anything or he could not have done this. How did he get full custody of their son? You can tell she really loved him, but he don't love her anymore, so she needs to get herself some good help and take back her own dignity, then her son. This is not the way to go about it. That bitterness and hurt in her voice came from somewhere.
She had a valid reason to divorce Steve because he was committing adultery and the sad part about it is Marjory knew she was sleeping with a married man. They say how you get a man is how you lose him as well, Marjory was a harlot she knew this man had a wife and a family and still proceeded with him that's the worst kind of woman is a selfish harlot. But that's what Steve wanted, he traumatized Ms Mary and sent her through the most broken hearted painful thing no woman would ever want to go through. And because Ms Mary decided to proceed with a divorce Steve was vindictive instead of trying to save his marriage he went own with the the adulterous woman out of being scorned because his wife wanted to get a divorce, It's shameful to watch this man hurt one woman just to go to the next one and he knew he was wrong but he made his ex wife look bad in the public eye when it was him all alone who had committed adultery. Well I hope Steve is paying Alimony because if he isn't then his ex wife can still pursue it and she got proof to do so with, Steve would have been better off apologizing to his ex wife rather than being vindictive to her. It's really sad to watch Steve acting as if he was godly but all along doing the devils work, people are who they are. Sad.
+Cassi Nance Amen, I couldn't agree more! I see in these videos someone who has been hurt, has been dominated, and who has no other recourse than to get the story out and clear her name. Everything was taken away from her, including her son. Thank the heavens for TH-cam!

Clarification: Steve met Marjorie in (1990) according to Marjorie.
At that time he was still married to his first wife (Marcia)...but he was living with Mary. He and Mary lived together starting in 1989.
Therefore, when Steve first Marjorie at that comedy club in Memphis during Rose Bowl weekend, and stated..."Lady, I don't know who you are but I'm going to marry you one day"...he was already married...to Marcia...and living with Mary!
P.s. Steve says he met Marjorie in 1987 at a comedy club in Memphis. He states he dated Marjorie until 1989. Whichever year is right, until Steve and Marjorie can agree on the correct year...he was married already nonetheless...to Marcia (and living with Mary).
How do I know this: Look at past vids of Steve and Marjorie when they talk about how and when they first met. Compare their accounts to his marriage dates....divorce dates from Marcia..and Mary's video on when they first met, and moved in together before they got married in 1996.
What a dear , intelligent, and sweet person. Cruel and malignant narcissist is Steve Harvey. How evil he must be to have treated this kind woman the way he did. I would want nothing to do with a man who treated his current wife in this manner.

Here is what most of us fail to realize. Steve was wrong and he did her dirty. That is a fact no debate. To say someone cannot write a book based on their experience and personal views is ludicrous. That is to say no therapist or divorce lawyer is qualified if they have ever been divorced. You think every book written in this world comes from a perfect happy place. Books are written from experiences good or bad. Something was lacking for both of them in both of their previous marriages

This is why since the 1970s, it is important to know people's positive and negative side. This helps to minimize having relationships with people who are a negative association especially if they become serious leading to romantic. I also suggest gathering information of when and where to sift out toxic gossip and intentional and unintentional information. Toxic people exist in our work and public especially our personal lives.

Yes karma did come back come to Mary for being the side chick when Steve was with his first wife. That's one thing and it's another thing and story with her not being able to see her son. Her fighting to get her son is a complete different story now. She is his mother and deserves to see him. She's got the point that steve moved on with Marjorie who was part of her karma but at least respect her in regards to her son. She's a human being.
It shows how men can change when they move on and get all the money and fame and the new love of their life. As long as they are happy and all good, they don't care about the previous exes. The exes become old news for them then and exes realised that they got taken advantage of.
Men can be wusses with the new wife controlling them. They don't want to lose them so they follow their footsteps. He should know better and with Marjorie being a mother herself, her motherly nature should have told Steve to make sure that his son sees mary for the sons and mums benefit. What kind of people keep a son away from their own mother. Is the wife that jealous and scared of steve having any contact with Mary due to their son! It's needed. Tons of families are in contact briefly for to their kids sake but steve didn't even make an effort with mary! What really happened, only god knows.

The other thing that people are blinded by especially those touting GOD but daming Steve is that while you hold a grudge and preach the word of GOD you are clearly missing the message that GOD is a forgiving GOD. My Dad highly religious cheated on my Mom. They have been divorced for years. It took years of therapy for me to forgive, not a youtube video. My Dad and Steve are allowed to be forgiven by GOD and judged by him in the end. Finding GOD after he cheated on Mary is not a SIN.

After watching Mary-I Admired her Strength to Move forward without Steve! Most of all she seemed down to earth and humble especially working at Cosmetics department in Store before Steve came along. That old saying when someone cheats in a relationship-No One comes out a winner '(((

Realize I do not know the whole story...Sounds like you ended up being a stepping stone for Steve (hope you were compensated financially for time & effort allowing him to gain success he has). If you got together with him while he was still married to first wife...you know the saying!
