Worked this crossing/box in the 1970s. The box is a fringe box, previously to Port Talbot panel but now to Canton SC, with block instruments to Kidwelly SB. Was a busy box back in the day, especially when the power station was operating with coal trains in and out and the BP&GV railway branch. There were 3 tracks across the crossing in those days.

Although the box is large the control area these days is very simple compared to what it was years ago, it's just the up and down main now. All the signals except the two distant signals and PY4 are still semaphore so it will require upgrading to MAS before control passes to Canton.
You're not wrong. As I mentioned in the video description, this crossing is due to be upgraded around September time, so it won't sound like this for long.

Ah, I see. Will the signal box at Pembrey & Burry Port be staying due to it being a large box?
