Dexter Manning - Small Blind - Downhill Skateboarding

- Dexter has spent a lot of time finding hills to challenge himself. Switchbacks on rugged logging roads or pristine blacktop in unfinished housing developments, Dexter will skate it all. Boulders, cracks, bridges, and precipitation are only minor adversaries in Dexter's pursuit to find the best roads and to develop the perfect downhill skateboard setup.

Damn, we gotta acknowledge how gnarly the pavement was (not to mention the wooden bridges). Those weren't perfect little downhill havens, those were roads out to kill. Managed it like it was nothing. I want to see what those wheels look like after shooting.
I wish I could do this type of longboarding, definitely puts you in the mood to try it out!
Helmet, gloves, a board and practise
You can
Its alot of fun man give it a shot. Be safe on the roads.
Send it 100 times, fall 100 times, send it 100 more, fall 99 times.
There is something truly awesome about downhill/freeriders... just the pure speeds that they can reach on a small piece of wood and wheels

@@jblps EXACTLY
There is just enough room for his feet
Eco friendly stance. No waste.
That shot with the wooden bridge is so dope
I really enjoy watching downhill longboarding. Gives me hope and courage to do the same one day.
Wood bridges, snakes and cracks in the pavement, wet roads.....Dexter is an absolute unit.
On god he’s a monster
I jus bought a dinghy blunt UV Sun like 45 minutes ago can not wait till it gets delivered. It’s also my first landyachtz board and I’ve gotta say prolly the most beautiful boards on the market. 🔥👌
Don't get the graphic wet! The UV coating will wear off.
- Happy owner of a UV Bengal Tugboat (that no longer changes color)
(Yes I know I shouldn't be riding in even slightly wet conditions anyways 🤫😆)
Thanks for letting me know my guy 🙂👍
Dang! Dexter makes riding a short wheelbase deck look like nothing! Stoked!
that wipeout at the start, i felt that in my soul.
Down hill was soo fun an releasing but I haven't skated since 2013 makes me wanna go bust my ass
If Dex isn’t slapping death in the face he isn’t having fun. 🤣😂
I know right
As someone who has skated most of these roads, and knows how bad the pavement is and how fast they feel, this skating is legendary.

Got me sad 😢 we don’t have hills like this in Ontario.
I'm from Ontario originally, there are some spots.
We have hills they're just onterrible.
I wish i have a skate, i always want it since i was 5y/o and now im 20, the price is pretty insane in my country tho haha
Amazing style as always Dex!
On the wood bridges? Good lord man
Gnarly lines 🤟🏾🔥
Truly next level stuff. Very concerning
I want to do this one day, btw loving my dropcat
I live off Soledad Canyon Road here in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I found a pristine Canyon Arrow by Landyachtz on eBay and the seller was from Lakewood, California--- which just happens to be where I grew up.
I started watching these videos and Dexter Manning is my favorite to watch. I even got dual duro Cheetah Hawgs 🐆. They are as fast advertised!! I'm lucky enough that there are two radar speed signs on the downhill descent here on my road. I'm proud to say that I hit 49 mph after only one or two serious crashes getting the hang of it. Thanks to Landyachtz and Dexter Manning for inspiring me.
Omg that was exhilarating- absolutely loved that
nice to see some new spots
het im from the common wealth of dominica n i would love it if u came to my country and skate
I would have slid on those patches .... =x
Does anyone else watch these videos and get the biggest urge to grab you board and just go?
Whether it’s with friends or yourself, this makes me want to go riding so bad! Haha
This is what its all about. I appreciate the savages for uploading and subliminally telling us to get on that level. Im trying 😎
2:02 Highlight of the clip for me, right there...so cool. 😎
Dude just killed these hills. Like who the fuck needs a car or a bike. Get a fucken board n rip...fuckit tomorrow evening is Friday, I'm gonna have a few beers, muster up the courage and on my tiny declined street picture myself as this dude. Fucken feeling like a boss
Hey be careful
Putting the void on roast!
Donwhill version of the dinghy?
This man is precision 🤧
A little surprised to see you wearing an Icaro Long tail for helmet protection. The skating is fast as always, stay safe!
Love to see some new vids coming out
I'll never understand how people do this on a board practically the size of a dinghy lmao.
Precision trucks my dude
Ding hee has a lot smaller effective foot platform, and wheelbase affects it a ton, dinghy has a tail and a nose wheras trucks on the small dh decks are mounted all the way out on the front and rear. Also they're designed to fit your feet perfectly, so they never feel small and you never really have to move your feet.
What a handsome young man
Landyachtz should have an official europe representative.
Flow and freedom

Is Danger Danes video next? 🥺
Kale Yeah!
Lets go lets goooo
Miss downhill, this summer I went shredding in Tuscany with my father and mother behind me with the car, I couldn't see but my mother was having multiple heart attacks at the same time and then I lost balance and fell (or rolled ahaha) bumped against and olive tree.
With school now and the pandemic in Italy I can't even go carving or something else
Landyacht is giving me hope
Nice
How’s he not get speed wobbles with such a small board lol
Narrow board= shorter stance=better weight management to prevent the wobbles
the size of the wheels and the kind of trucks you use also prevent that from happening
and probably being a profesional helps too, lol
Being an experienced skater, and also 20* rear baseplate helps
He’s got a dialed in split degree w that setup to keep him stable. Also he’s very used to riding his board, and he isn’t afraid which plays a big part in your reaction to small little wobbles. It’s like when you first drive on the highway vs once you’ve gotten really experienced
Seems impossible when I look at this whole longboarding thing. Haven’t longboarded in for 10 months and I feel like I’m back at square 1. Also my new landyachtz board is 10x faster than the other Amazon board I had lol
MEGA 😍😍😍😍
