- 16th January 2021 I took the bus from Mpanda to Kigoma with the solo purpose of experiencing the magnificent sunsets over Lake Tanganyika. One of Africa's Great lakes.
There are several spots alone the shoreline of Lake Tanganyika to enjoy sundowners, swimming or boat rides on the Lake. Be sure to check out the Hill top hotel terrace and the beach, Lake Tanganyika Hotel terrace, Kimba Beach Resort waterfront and Jakobsen Beach and Guest House for boat rides and Bangwe Beach.
Thanks for watching

Hometown Kigoma. How much I have missed it.
Well then make some plans to visit as they say there is no place like home 😆
@Liesel81 July, I'm taking my kids and my mother home.
Awesome safe travels
Girl, seems like you had a time of your life along the shore of Lake Tanganyika. As matter of fact the sunset view is real breath taking ☀️
Absolutely amazing. One more country I need to touchdown on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on. In the DRC
Somewhere around Lake Tanganyika was where our First Fijian Ancestors came from..The village was called Verata. They travelled by huge double hulled wooden Canoes called the Drua .

Hi. Did you investigate trips up to Gombe Stream park at all. Thanks for the travel info. I did not know there is a train from Dar til you mentioned,. Excellent!

Very impressive. The hotel was lovely
Yes there have a couple of hotels with good views of the lake in kigoma.
Kigoma my birth place, so beautiful indeed ❤️❤️❤️🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
Loved the sunset
For sure looks nice
Thanks 😊
Love the views
yeah its really beautiful
Nice video. I see that the water is so unpolluted. Bravo to Tanzania for preserving the environment. In fact, TZ is the number one country in Africa, with the highest percentage of their land reserved for conservation of the environment.by the way, did you learn some Kiswahili? English is not spoken by many in TZ, unlike Uganda or Kenya.
No not really just a few words but english was also fine. I already speak three languages I think thats okay and if you add just using your hands it makes up for missing local vocabulary 😅. In terms conservation they definitely have put in a lot of effort and resources.
Lovey video & the last hotel is lovely. Thanks.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Do you mean the one I showed at night?
