I still give my smoke detector the middle finger every time I walk past it though. Especially the one in the hallway next to the bathroom (who the hell decided to put one there? No one will ever know). I guess this is just a long message, but I wanted to say thank you. The way you explain things and show us things gets me intrigued more than scared somehow. And I appreciate that. Thank you.
Thanks for showing you can interrupt the panel with the mic, didn't know you could do that, does this work while normally alarmed against a fire as well?

I have a red FIRE-LITE BG-8 that will not pull. It is new in box, on the inside there is a button, lever and a spring that holds the pull station closed. Can you help please?
I have a fire lite ms4 panel and when I went to install the batteries the trouble will not go away. Could it be that the batteries are bad? Let me know
Interesting how any supervisory or hazard alerts immediately initiate all alarms connected. Don't know why the panel can't immediately set off the fire notification appliances.

I believe the fire alarm panels have a line attached that contacts the fire department, or a security company that’s monitoring your alarm system. The way companies test their fire alarms is by contacting the fire department and letting them know that you will be testing your fire alarms.

Ms 9002 fire control panel and the fire alarm it is 2903-79 and the smoke detector TY-3479
Try using a "cigarette" to activate it. They emit much more smoke. Try that on the smoke detectors.I would like to see the result
