Fusion box is a fully analogue effects processor based on two bucket brigade delay chips and tube overdrive in the feedback and input circuits. More: www.ericasynths.lv
sounds great! I'd love to hear how delay section sounds on some analog synths. a full analog delay is what i am after, everything else that comes with it is a plus!
Flang GurZ! I love it. I want to build all of the Erica kits that are available. not that this is available as a kit. I have plenty of effects, but this is very cool.Sounds great. I love the fact that the delay is a bucket brigade so you get the smooth time changes unlike a lot of modern delays that do that weird thing. Don't get me wrong. I love my Line 6 delay modeler and my Echophon and all of those boxes, but there's nothing quite as nice as changing the time on a BBD with the feedback cranked.Fun stuff
This looks awesome, but the module it's inspired by is what I really need and I can't find it in your shop, only a delay/flange which looks quite different. Would love to get a DIY kit of this module if that's possible??
ok, so, I can do very similar things he does up to about the 3:40 mark, with the OLD DL4 line 6 delay. Where this unit ( ESynth) rises above is with the knobs on the left. i don't know (yet) what the new Line 6 is capable of, perhaps it can approach the color and distortion but so far I can't even do what the old one did which is so similar to the first 3:40. Different high-end character that I can't yet get to modulate and feedback like the old one. Anyways, try the old Line 6 first, a lot cheaper and less knobs to fiddle with to get that thick buzzy modulation sound. It's basically like a set of feedback mirrors creating wild egress , or regress? Like pointing an old video camera at the tv while it's monitored by the tv. Super cool and easy way to modulate and mess with any incoming signal. I use it on drum loops in dance classes. Frees up my hands to play live drums over the top while occasionally reaching up to tweak the feedback.
I have been carrying it around the world for almost two years now. Not a single issue have happened. And I don't even put it in a bubblewrap or anything, just trowing in my drop-off luggage along with cables and stuff. And in case if the tube breaks it can be easily replaced.
@@nicolassignat6733 Hi there! The amount of spread ~ and any other effect created with the Fusionbox ~ can be increased or decreased with the 'dry / wet' manual control dial :)
Hard to believe all that mayhem started with a 505. Awesome awesome sounds!
this should pair nicely with the AcidBox! can't wait for the stereo version too...love your gear, don't ever stop!
And it doesn't even explode, amazing little box.
Again I could watch this all day!
some really excellent sounds, congratulations
Seems like a winner to me. All the best from Estonia!
Awesome aggression! And the knobs and faceplate design look superb!
fantastic! another great Erica product

This makes me laugh like a giddy idiot. Which is absolutely why I’m ordering one now. Well done Erica Synths. Fantastic.
great job Erica Synth people!
that with an option to close out some frequencies .amazing
dying to hear on more than a drum machine (not that it doesn't sound awesome). I want to hear the stereo effect and chorus too!
absolutely awesome, wow

Oh my god, when he ups the feedback!!! I'm saving up now!!!
so sick, woah keep i[ the good work!
nicely responsive, cool
impressive!
Yes!

Its fucking brilliant :-D Guys, could you do a demo using bass lines, not drums ? I think my Avalon just found its new playmate..

Have you tried it with guitars?
Love to hear this with bass guitar and electric guitar
This is already in the queue! :)
Hell Yes
Love it, I can hear it doing wonders on a live set. How does it withstand being carried around?

KODEKV3V0 thanks for the answer! Yes, I ordered mine already
Those BBD chips sound really good. Lots of high mids. Usually BBDs end up murky and sound shit on synths. Anyone know what chips are used?
artilect 99 we use coolaudio V3205 and V3207 BBDs. But we developed advanced circuit to cancel BBD clock noise
Instant Mick Gordon :)
When is the STEREO Version out?
Simply buy two
It's a mono input but the output of the Fusionbox is stereo, with left and right outputs ~ and it works nicely too, with good effect.
@@davejulian1339 Hi ! How do you handle the stereo spread ?

Is it coming to vcv rack?
Is this a joke? it's fully analog
never heard of the tr-505. sounds just like a 707 imo.
Shut up and take my money!!!
I have owned 3 fusion boxes, they all were broke when they got to me, and now I have none, I'm going fucking mad maaaan😪😪😪👈
Input signal is mono?
Yes.
tekkno ;) os of course!!!
I purchased this and it doesn’t sound like this at all.....
It just sounds muddy and a lot of reverb
RONIN 562 learn to mix
Coool but does anybody know a synth like this except it
Isn't £400, less ....
It's not a synth. It's an effect unit. Koma BD101can go wild with BBD chips, as well. It used to be cheaper, but it's not in production any more.
This demo with the drum machine was OK but I'd like to hear it do chorus on pads, bass, EPs, etc
We are going to release a new demo this week, so stay tuned!
Incoming.... ; )
🥔 🎤
Disgusting. If it had stereo inputs, I'd be ordering immediately.
Mumbling...
poor demonstration
