For those who think the map is just too orange, its a weather effect thing you only see from heli or in this case the spectate camera.

It's the "Mortier 120mm Rayé Tracté Modèle F1", which is more than the US/UK 81mm mortar.

The atmosphere of the map is just amazing man , the fog the colour the visibility. Tops
Biggest bag fumble on the t-72. Props to the gunner somehow managing to clutch up and wipe out an entire at squad as well as the heli and tiger with the support. Game was over as soon as school was secured and the French side lost their tank. GG to the players thank you for the gameplay.
We need a south african military mod as south africas armor was designed for bush warfare after the border war

Man, I know people complain about the focus on vehicle combat, but moments like that hold out by the T-72 are why he does that!
Reminds of that one EITS match between I think the VDV and Irregular Militia where the tank got tracked on a hill while IMF AT was circling like hyenas, only for an APC to show up and block a shot while crewmen desperately repaired the tank.
Love those moments!

Cuirassier were a form of Heavy Cavalry during the time of Napoleon. In the modern day they serve a common or assault role else but like regiments like the the 7th Cavalry hold their traditions in high esteem. Also to point out, that "grindfest" wasnt a grindfest at all. Its basic tactics. If you want to make an effective flank you need to pin the main force in place so they cant bleed off and counter the move. Because a lot of the french team was pinned in the town it was much easier for a flank on the school.

French LAT is either AT4 or AT rifle grenades. HAT is the NLAW.

@@sfecgtt6084 The French don't really use a comparable system (solely going up to portable ATGMs) so the modders simply picked something to fill the spot. For realism's sake France making it to Squad would be like the Turks and not have a HAT kit.

I spent 5 days in this village Douenza (Mali) in 2001.
You should do a modded eye in the sky with an armored division. So like 3 tanks and 3 Bradley’s vs the other team but try and prioritize actual armor tactics in conjunction with the IFV’s. THATD BE AWESOME

Will probably happen once the mod is finished, same with the very promising German mod. Don't believe anyone is working on South Korea, however given this year will be multiple east asia maps from OWI, maybe they are working on SK or JP themselves.

@@evangelosvasiliades1204 sure but it would be a good thing if these mods where adopted to the vanilla game, like the Canadians and aussies. So hopefully that will happen but like Moi said they really should do an overhaul on vehicles I’ve been saying this for awhile now most of the vehicles look brand new and shinny there should be more variation in their condition and appearance plus they should add things like thermal view and night vision and like many people we want to see close air support helos like the hind or mi28 Apache and viper along with the vehicle overhaul and by extension a way to defend against them with manpads. I e been playing this game since 2016 and it’s come a long way and is getting closer to its inspiration project reality.

Hey my game wont load since the new update. How do I fix this? I've tried. Opening in administrative mode. Comparability mode. Verifying integrity of files. Reinstall. Nothing had worked. It gets stuck on black load screen. Thanks guys ✌

T-72 last stand
I like the non-linear map design with the cap-point placement. Still waiting on the SQUAD devs to implement a true-random RAAS game mode, with points just plopped all over the map in no particular balance or rationality. Make Squadlanes impractical to use and make rushing past revealed objectives extremely punishing.
