3:10 - I assume there is a shutter timer on the iPhone? I set the shutter timer on my Android phone to delay 2 seconds after I press the shutter button before it takes the picture and this is enough time for the phone to stop moving as a result of me pressing the shutter button.
did u not pay any attention? If he was simply hating he would not have made the comparison for you to decide, bear in mind number 2 could be achieved by post processing as he suggested, yet the iphone couldn't get to number 1 even if it tried, meaning it takes control away from the user and just assumes what you want, which is never good if you're doing something serious lol
I'd say most phones will only work well enough for Gen 1 captures. The last couple generations have better cameras and will definitely stay on for gen 2.
Nice comparison. Tip: on the iPhone you can use the headphones volume buttons to trigger the shutter remotely.
Good point! Thanks for the tip!
Or the Apple Watch in case you have those.
Haha duh! Don’t know how I forgot that!! Just goes to show how much I use that feature on the watch!!!

is there a standalone desktop software (mac or PC) that does the processing without some BS on-line service, like all of these iOS apps do?
Iconasys
Mac: Easy Photogrammetry and PhotoCatch (the Mac version, not iOS)
PC: Meshroom
great vid, thanks mate!
Have you attempted to use the app EM3D?
Can you show us tutorial how to make this for games !
Im guessing this dude dose not like iPhones. number 2 better at first glance. super cool though.

Hi, Which photogrammetry software did you use in this comparison?
It’s called Photocatch. Photocatch uses Apple’s Object Capture API available in Mac OS Monterey.
Try saying "Hey Siri, take a photo"
lol i thought the numbers were added in post until i noticed that they auto orientated to the camera in 3d space. nice subtle detail
What a great video!
Fantastic video
on my samsung
i can simply say cheese and it will take a photo without me touching it
what about lidar on iphone?)
I'm going through lidar on this video here: th-cam.com/video/OSJJamCrPz4/w-d-xo.html
Please add Polish subtitles to the movie because I don't understand everything you say.
