5 Minute Debate | Are We Really "Snowflakes"? Is This Generation "Too Soft"?

With everything that’s happened in the World recently, whether it be the looming disaster that is global warming, or a worldwide pandemic, it is clear to see that this generation will have a very heavy burden to carry on its shoulders.
And, as you’ve probably noticed, millennials and generation z are not too happy about that.
And with all these protests being covered by the media, you may have come across the word ‘snowflake.’
Usually used as a derogatory term, ‘snowflake’ has become the nickname of this generation owing to the belief that we are much too sensitive and easily offended by the World around us.
Others, however, argue that this nickname is baseless, and that generation z and millennials aren’t too soft, instead, more considerate, and aware of the people and world around them.
Let’s take a look at a couple of arguments from both sides of the spectrum, in the form of a little debate.

ngl both sides had v good points!! it should be a balance between the two. We should have healthy conversations from a place of empathy 🤍 Emotional intelligence is just as important as educational intelligence.
