I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Just got it set up. Took a few tries but finally got it to connect to the app on my phone. I have it set up on my front porch light to see the front yard and street. It is very basic, but I guess I couldn't expect too much for something from Walmart's site for $16. It lets me see in front of the house. I checked and the Mic works through the app, I could talk to my son who stood outside. I could hear him and he could hear me. Took a few minutes to figure out how to get the best quality sound. Its almost like talking via a walkie talkie, you have to hold the mic button while you are talking and let it go a sec after you are done talking. I didn't buy a memory card but it does record and save it on the phone. So maybe you get a little memory but its not like I'll be able to record all day and go back over it later. This video needs to have English subtitles or have another video done in English. I was tech savvy enough to fumble through the set up and get it working.
How did you end up setting the thing up? I've tried multiple times with multiple different devices but it stays stuck on connecting the camera to the app. (3:36)

My sister got me this cam for Christmas. I just figured it out and got it working on my own. Before screwing on the bulb/cam, get a sharp object (a pin or needle) and put it on the Reset hole, press for 5 seconds. You will see lights flashing and beeping. Then, you go to the app and set it up.
OK....now, how do I return this? It will not connect and there is no way I can even read these ultra-tiny instructions. From reading the other comments below, it's really not worth the hassle. I tried.

For those of u who r having trouble with login-wifi setting-register and then nothing...u have to scan the Qr code of the manual and then u'll see 3 options below...chose the second option n download the apk n then install it...using that apk will solve ur problem...hope it helps 🙂

Wall attachment is if you don't have a screw-in lamp to plug it into. You must furnish your own cord and hardwire it to the camera base attachment that is included.

Seems like the first device you pair it with is the only one you can use. I couldnt pair it with my tablet as well as my phone. The camera quality is decent, I like it but it really sucks not being able to pair multiple devices.

I saw a youtuber's link for a free cam. It is a fraud. The cam may be free but you will be bound to pay for a monthly subscription or a membership of some sort. Make sure you read the offer completely.

There's no audio on MicroSD recorded videos. When I use the app to see live actual video and press the audio icon, the audio listen well but the issues is when recording videos, manually and motion videos wont play any audio.

Was really disappointed with this item. Once I succeeded in getting it installed ( plays around for hours), I foundation the camera don't zoom in. You get one enlarged picture. Cars going by blurrs. No night vision. Pitch dark...do yourself a favour and spend a few bucks more and get a security cam...far better
These things JXLCAM do not work. My phone keeps telling me this is not secure and thi the instructions is in Chinese. I bought 3 of these and 3 months later I’m still trying to connect .Terrible!!!

it connects to wifi. No cord needed. Gets its power from device you screw it in to.

I got a128G usb card that works but I think thats the most it takes.

I already plugged it in the light socket but I can’t find the hotspot
Double check if the camera got proper power source. Resettng the camera will also help.

Only live view a available or during u watching live u can record for evidence so this camera is useless
