Man, the quality of this video is insane. I've been struggling to much with trying to figure mics out, and this has been the best video I've seen yet. I think I've been using a shotgun mic a bit too far away… and expecting it to sound like a podcast mic. Then I bought a Rode Go II (a lav mic?) and thought it would give me a podcast mic sound because it was closer. Bah, sounds like I need a third mic. Amazing video, man. And it sounds great.
Geralt undone talked about making a moving sound deeding c-stand with sound blankets and it may be the solution for you since a rolling c-stand is much more modular!
@@filmdudejacob Actually I need to correct myself, Geralt Undone talked about them but the youtuber DSLR video shooter came up with the idea and shows how to make em. Video title is:"GIANT DIY Sound Blanket Panels For Better Audio and Lighting!"
The MKE 600 is a beast! Best mic i’ve ever got, made a massive difference to my videos. I’d pair it with a ME2 as lav mic and the oktava mk-012 for those untreated rooms with reverb
Dude my MKE 600 is for sure the best purchase I have made in a long time and has paid off exponentially. Love it and would recommend any Sennheiser product. Love the lav recommendations.
Not sure why this video was recommended to my, but great video, awesome audio, and you're gonna crush it on TH-cam! TH-cam is actually recommending good stuff lately.. shout-out to TH-cam ahahaha *edit* subscribed.
@ I linked your channel in the description & b-rolled a very small portion of your video in my latest.. about to go up.. talking about the new algorithm
Thank You for the great Video. Wenn das Video you are talking about speaking in TH-cam Video what’s about if you want to record concerts? Can you recommend some Microphones for this usecase?
I personally don't have a ton of experience shooting concerts. The ones I have shot I just used a mixture of microphones. Some in the back of the audience, some by the stage. Lots of rode wireless mics and shotgun microphones. I'm definitely not well-versed in filming concerts though so take this with a grain of salt.
Excellent comparisons with the pros and cons of different mic types. I appreciated the audio switching during the video also. Great insights! Thanks!
Appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed
🔥Great tips! This video deserves to be seen by a lot more people - there is a wealth of useful knowledge here! 🔥
I appreciate it dude!

You're welcome!
Are you mixing the podcast and mkh 600 audio for the general speech audio? Whatever you're doing sounds good!
I'm just using the Sennheiser MKE 600 for the general speech audio. I found I like the overall vibe of that mic better for this specific video.
Nice
So nice
