PURE GOLD right here!! Very well done, Jason...and I hope you, Lorraine, and Penelope are literally CHOKED with folks wanting to buy your meat...then, realizing what a great value that it, they'll go to your web site and buy you out! For anyone who is just watching this particular video, I can say that this family is the real deal! I've never met them, yet I feel like I've known them for many years. They just live the good life and show us how we can improve our lives in many ways. Thumbs up all the way! ~Dr. Larry S. Anderson • Tupelo, MS (birthplace of Elvis)
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I always enjoy your content. I'm 82 years old and grew up on a farm in Missouri where we grew out chickens, calf, pigs and a three acre vegetable garden. There were no grocery stores back then but lots of small farm stands that we delivered to. I loved that life.
One of my favorite things about you Jason is your quality of re-purposing things from found objects!! It's awesomely amazing the things you re-make! You & Ben both!
My husband and I love your channel; especially your humor. You crack us up. I like to also watch Homestead Shop Talk. I listen when I go to bed and don’t have watch. I appreciate all the ideas you have to build simply and affordable. Your imagination is amazing. I wish your family happy, healthy holidays. Keep up the good work ❤
I'll be honest, I don't watch ALL the ads on MANY of the channels I follow on TH-cam, but I do TRY to watch all of them on yours because I know it helps you out. I really enjoy everything about your videos, homestead and family!!
I too am a cancer survivor turned homesteader. I love supporting you and your family. I watch all the TH-cam videos and let the ads play. I am doing this as single woman, so truly Punk Rock! lol, I grow everything, have chickens, and can all the things. I'm in Western WA, or I would def come by and take a class or buy some meat, but that is a bit too far. Merry Christmas!
I am from Western WA too, i garden (8 yrs now) and have started to can this year. We just got our first frost yesterday, really late for us. When did you get your first frost?
Thanks for the nudge Jason. I just purchased 2 items. Your channel means alot to me! Your content is genuine, informative and welcoming. I moved from Asheville in May and feel a piece of home in each of your videos. ❤
I bought my husband a hat for Christmas last year. While he likes it, I was excited to see the stickers and a note from Jason saying Thank You! Hahaha. We have also bought chicken tractor plans and they’ve been awesome. Thanks for all you do.
Thanks, Jason. Punk Rockin' here. If you are old enough, you were a Mother Earther. We are in western WA so it is a bit too far to get a turkey from you. Oh how I wish we could. Merry Christmas to you and family as well. Thanks for keeping it real.
for you, I will watch the ads. this was a short video and only half way through it was interrupted with more ads. But for STL I will watch the ads out of gratitude for what you’uns do. Blessings✨
Love that as you've grown over the years, you have stayed small. The same for many you tube homesteaders can't be said. Your content, has remained within the realm of achievability for the average person.
I had no idea watching through the ads made a difference, and I even have a channel (Tiny, poorly ran channel…but I’m trying..lol) I can’t buy anything right now, we’re in a very tough season, but I always try to watch when I have a window of time to watch my favorite people. 🌱💛 thank you for all you share!!
Jason, I was wondering why after 8 years on youtube you still don't have a tractor. You need to talk to Evan from Country View Acers. I'm positive he can help you more then you know.
I'd love a way to help get you guys a tractor aswell! Amazing farm run by an amazing family! The way you run your animals is so kind 💜🦘 much love from Aus
I’ve watched you for almost 4 years now. I’ve learned so much from you and your family! Thank you for sharing your life with us. Homesteading is punk rock!! 🤘🎸
Nice! I support you by watching regularly! Your family is great and we’re just a little bit behind you on homesteading… or maybe a lot depending on how you measure. 😆 Maybe we will get to North Carolina one day to take one of your classes. I’ve talked to my husband about him many times. 😄🥰
I love watching your videos because you put up really good enjoyable content that I actually find really interesting. I think what amazes me is how much you do yourself that's what I find inspiring.
Being able to Watch your Videos is Informative , Educational and Fun. If your Into Homesteading. And I am. Along with Other Homesteader Channels. Being Disabled there is So Much I get just by Watching. Thank You Again for Sharing 😎
Jason, to put you subscribers into perspective. 273,000 is over 6 sold out baseball stadiums. Can you imagine standing in the middle of just one stadium, let alone 6? Keep it up and I will be getting a hat.
I used to buy Lorraine's Face oil and deoderant, but then she quit making them after you moved to your new farm. If she makes them again, I would buy. I tired making my own deoderant but it did not work as well.
Good to know about the adds on TH-cam. I usually skip them immediately. I didn’t know that you got paid if people watched them. Do people have to watch the entire add or is there a cut off to when you get paid?
I love my Sow The Land kerchief. It’s a great cover for my sourdough bread bowl-easy to moisten and covers the bowl.. Lorraine should try this:). She is such a great kitchen chef!
Good morning, nothing wrong with self promoting yourself, love your ideas to support your homestead. maybe think about creating a cookbook and canning book, also maybe think about the idea to offer dehydrated meats to sell on your channel or website so can offer to people all over the usa and abroad. that would be a great gift idea. congrates on all your success. hope you have a great day. Karen from Arizona
Love it! I am so happy you made this video, I was wondering if you sold downloadable diy templates! I will say, I try to watch all ads on all channels that I follow but sometimes...every once in a while a radom ad will pop up that's inappropriate. We definitely skip those 😅. Otherwise great video, as always, thanks for sharing!
Love your videos, I get TH-cam premium so don't get ads, they were every few minutes which is very annoying. But I watch your videos from start to finish. Sorry would buy from you but I think by the time it got to us on the Isle of Wight UK it'll either be off or too expensive to send. Thanks for all your hard work
🇦🇺Have you considered making your courses into a book with CD’s? Spiral bound copies are best, I’m not homesteading but I have a lot of books, just in case. Great barter item for in the future. Do preorders for books.
Maybe different types of hats like the ones that cover the neck. Poncho, aprons, bags, or something light weight (easy to store and ship)? Jigs, templates, craftsman gadgets?
Have you thought about supplying local restaurants with your chickens and pork? Could that be an option in your area, it would up your production and locals would get incredible locally raised meat.
I have YT Premium but I try to watch until the very end. I read somewhere on someone’s YT comments that with premium every minute watched counts and YT will pay less if a Premium watcher doesn’t watch the whole vid. 🤷🏻♀️

Great job
Good day to all.
I have to ask…what happened with the basement repair from flooding and how can you prevent that happening again?
🇦🇺Have you considered making your courses into a book with CD’s? Spiral bound copies are best, I’m not homesteading but I have a lot of books, just in case. Great barter item for in the future. Do preorders for books.
I thought you made wooden ladles and stuff … do you still make them
Maybe different types of hats like the ones that cover the neck. Poncho, aprons, bags, or something light weight (easy to store and ship)? Jigs, templates, craftsman gadgets?
Have you thought about supplying local restaurants with your chickens and pork? Could that be an option in your area, it would up your production and locals would get incredible locally raised meat.
Simple answer…..You do you.
I have YT Premium but I try to watch until the very end. I read somewhere on someone’s YT comments that with premium every minute watched counts and YT will pay less if a Premium watcher doesn’t watch the whole vid. 🤷🏻♀️
Do you and your family autograph any of the merchandise
Will you do piggy math? Which comes out best cost wise…kuni’s vs. feeder pigs?
