Sacramento Light Rail Trains at 16th Street, Sacramento, CA Ft. SACRT 50th Anniversary Wrap

This is a reupload due to another train I forgot to insert in this video.
After getting some mainline activity at the train yard in Roseville, we jumped over to Sacramento to get some Light Rail observations on Sacramento Regional Transit District on New Year's Eve while in Sacramento County. It may have been nice to get some light rail stuff on this again, but I did not enjoy it as much because some of the people seemed rather rude and sketchy in this area. Hell, some even went onto the Light Rail tracks instead of using the crosswalks and also beating the trains when the alarm was sounding, and there was even a mentally ill idiot who was shouting all this random nonsense and cussing out a lot. I was even grumbling about it when we were heading over to the Cattlemens in Rancho Cordova as well.
In this video, you will see a collection of Light Rail trains on the Sacramento Regional Transit Gold and Blue Lines with trains going towards Sacramento's Amtrak Station, Watt/I-80, Cosumnes River College, Sunrise and Historic Folsom. A highlight I even got to see was Siemens U2A 132 decorated in a special wrap for the Sacramento Regional Transit's 50th Anniversary on one of the Watt/I-80 trains. Enjoy!

All those old Sacramento Regional Transit's light rail Siemens U2A and Siemens-Duewag U2A tram cars will be taken out of service starting this summer 2024. It will be all replaced by the new Siemens S700 Light Rail Tram Cars. The CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) light rail tram cars built from Spain will still be around for another possible 4-5 more years before being replaced too. Yes, I do agree with you. Some people are very rude and sketchy, especially in this area and station here 16th Street Station, next is Watt/I-80 Station, and then Broadway Station. The one thing I'm glad that SacRT added more surveillance cameras and hired more security officers after the unsafe and too many hops on without purchasing a fare pass 7 years ago.
