A guide on how to beat one of the most hardest boss in Hollow Knight. Hollow Knight is a really good game! Go check it out for yourself here :) www.hollowknight.com/
What i did was a pseudo stall strategy with Jonni's Blessing and a bit of a spellcaster build, and I would only attack when Grimm uses the bats or rising flame attacks. And the moment he gave me a chance I Abyss Shrieked him to the face. It worked like a charm. I think ill do the same in the Godseeker battle.
Hi great vid, just some feed back, I don't think that quick slash is really necessary and instead you should use unbreakable heart and dream wielder or something like that.
Y’all don’t sweat it, nkg is a whimp, just use strength pride shaman and Grimm child, if you are at godhome just redo the charms to not include Grimm child, beat him on radiant in 25 ish attempts
While i do think this is a good guide, I do feel for players struggling with this may find some strats a bit risky I'm gonna say a few thing's i personally did differently (trying not to think too much about hitless since I'm quite used to thinking about the fight that way) I feel like nail arts, less experienced players are a lot less likely to use them so may be easier to just do a single hit Also save a lot of spells for the flame pillars as that's the easiest attack to deal damage, you can usually jump upslash after the 3rd pillar and abyss shreak after the 4th
You're right, I didn't use it as much as I thought I would. But I think I did one or two attacks using a spell, so I guess the shaman stone did have an effect; just not a significant one. What charms would you have used? Maybe I can give it a shot next time!
@@v1n4mrThat's not a great charm for this - if you get hit just once then you've wasted 3 slots that could be used on a more permanent damage boost, like shaman stone, because you don't get a chance to heal in this fight. If you're no-hitting, then it's great, but if you're just trying to beat him, it'll very quickly become useless.
What do you think about shape of Unn instead of shaman stone? I'd struggle to dodge as well as you did there and as a worm you have a heal window for the spikes and can wiggle underneath his deamon fireball shooty attack
Thanks! That's an idea worth trying, although as a worm, you wouldn't be able to counter-attack Grimm, so the whole battle might take longer. But it's definitely safer and less risky. Something to think about though, I think the firebats might still be able to reach you on the ground if you're far away, wouldn't they?
This video is really good! And very helpful. Keep up the good work!
Wow, thank you! I really appreciate your feedback since this was my first ever guide video. Stay tune for more!
@@CBMXLGaming yeah, I really did like it! (and I subscribed too.)
@@DJKoolKing awesome! Thank you!
thank you for slowing it all down so i can actually see whats going on haha. dashing through the bats to hit him is huge, thank you for the tips
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped 😃

Nice charm set-up! 😌

Now, absolute inferno king grimm
Wow! That sounds reeeaaallly hard. Unfortunately, I don't have a PC. I'm only playing this on switch huhu

You didn't use shaman stone like at all
He used the occasional spell, but yeah, not that much.

@@CBMXLGaming I use elegy as it allows me to hit from far away
like what you use shamans for

i think i make the 2 nail master disappointed (i didn't land a single hit by the charging)
But i already beat this guy on radiant with strength shaman's spell twister and grimmchild (it ain't gunna work in godhome so basically 9 notches)
