This show is just something special. The OVAs are always fire as are the ops eds. Gets ya hyped hits the feels and animation is fire (slight dip most recent season but it's fire when it needs to be). Your in for a good time and it will make ya miss playing team sports

To clarify, that man was not running away from the ball. He was just making a judgment call; he thought the ball was going to go out of bounds, so he let it pass. Only problem is, he clearly did _not_ have enough experience to accurately make that assessment and the ball definitely did _not_ go out of bounds, resulting in a point for the other team.
And one thing that you miss is that ,at the start of the episode,when hinata watch the TV the guy he look up to was from the same high school that he now goes to

His name is written 日 向 (Hinata) 翔 陽 (Shōyō) so while 翔 has the same reading as the kanji of "small" (小) the meaning is actually "to fly" or "to soar"
