It's important to note, that your chances of getting legendaries from gambling are very bad at low level and increase as you level past level 30 or 40.
true but evant glitch farming gets you 1000s a hr so at that point just spend them all on alts and try to get the one you need or you main for a better boost rn the evant bug is prob the best for gamble farming
@@SerenRhewi I believe they try to find an event close to a dungeon. Everytime you leave the dungeon you enter a new server (and thus a reset of the area) with a high chance of finding a new event. If there is no event just enter and exit the dungeon again.

Same. This is one of the main reasons I like to farm helltide. The events reset really fast so not only do you get your souls and cinders and whatever else but also lots of obols. I honestly think obols is probs the best way to get upgrades later in the game just cos u can target your weakest slots and when ancestral isnt in the rotation u can farm aspects like wudis saying here as well.
Got my best stuff from obols! To add another farming spot, PvP zones are as good as helltide: they spawn a bunch of those events and you can get both obols and seeds of hatred.
For people wondering about Uniques, I don't have a definitive answer but from my experience, I haven't got one from that shop and I've spent majority of my Obols trying to get Tempest Roar helm for Druid since Tier 3. Level 80 now, and all those gambles for the helm are down the drain. Best way to farm Uniques is Nightmare Dungeons, preferrably with Magic Find affix. If you don't get the unique you want, you at least get to level up Glyphs so it's not a waste of time
Unfortunately there is no definitive answer. I haven't personally heard of anyone getting a unique from gambling, though reddit claims you can, no proof of course. But as far as the NM dungeon claim. I've mainly farmed NMs(granted not all of them have been magic find), I'm 81 now, and have gotten 3 glyphs to 15, and I've gotten 2 uniques. Where as doing the Iron Hold, Blind Burrow, and Champions Demise farm with solo, duo, or trio respectively, I've gotten more than I can count. And even then, I've not gotten a single temerity, crone, roar, or fury, and I finally got a penitent 2 days ago. Where as the friend I leveled with, at 64-70 got 4 temerity and 2 penitent from normal dungeons when we were just going around and getting the codex powers from each one.
I got a unique staff on my 27 sorc last night. That’s my highest level character on my account. It had that aspect that gives a ~50% chance to cause Vuln when you freeze and enemy.
@@chrisditomasso5624 I don't want to keep stuff necessarily but I just need a HUGEE stash so I don't have to check for upgrades every 2 NM runs because half my stash is filled with perfectly rolled aspects, old usefull gear that I might have to use if I die on HC, gems and such. WE NEED MORE STASH SPACE.
@@deetsitmeisterjd Looking back at my four witch doctors i had in D3 (one for each set back when we didn't have the wardrobe and i hadn't learned this lesson yet...): Yeah if it is not a very close to perfect roll, trash it. Upgrades come fast and i'd rather spend every 4h or so upgrading as much gear as i have available. Extracting a power does cost a lot so i save it for perfect rolls. Or for aspects that i use alot, but even then i save only the top 10% rolls, makes the grind just so much smoother
I really hope more tiers come out after T5, because at the current rate, there is only like a 10-20 amount difference in obols from events in the T1-T4 difference. It's absurdly low with how farm heavy the diablo series is, it's not really a complaint, it's more on the fact that if it takes YEARS for the Tier to get high enough for the obols to get over 100 per event, then the early seasons are going to suck in that aspect.
Trying to get a ring with umbral aspect, been power farming those events on WT1 as the resource drop is the same. 15 gambled rings usually results in 4 legendaries, which is helpful, but the fact that offensive and resource aspects can be on rings is driving me crazy.
@@DadGotGamez The Aspect of the Umbral is a ring only resource aspect unfortunately, so i'm stuck gambling for rings and thus, having to share a drop pool with offensive aspects.

At 725 Ilvl Crossbows give 60% vulnerable guaranteed. And perfect roll vulnerable on an affix is +70.5% aswell. +130.5% vulnerable damage on a single item is amazing.
2 things to mention, legendaries isnt dropping on low levels, i think there are few iitems that can be rolled at lvl 5 and the rest needs higher level(tested my self) above 15 at least.And another thing to note, from level 50-70 legendaries drops as he said, but u will get sacred item rarely as legendary, they usually are normal legendary that rolls... There u go !

@@Commission_ There isn't really an endgame yet, they just put the nm dungeons and the glyph grind in so there's something to do in the game in its current form, but if the community keeps telling the devs to buff the nm dungeons and put more shit in there then that WILL be the endgame in the future.

I wish the Codex of Power would list all available legendary aspects, like the Kanai's cube, just so I could see in game what one I'm looking for. Also the star icon on the legendary aspect on gear should be replaced with the power type, Offensive, defensive etc. I don't know off the top of my head what every power falls under and you have to go to the Occultist to check. 🤦

aspect of disobediance is something you should 100% grab you can also get an aspect for the barrier proc. You should also check out wudijo video on surviving since he covers all that stuff really well in that video

one thing I like about doing nightmare dungeons is that unless the dungeon is right next to the waypoint, I normally run into an event on my way to the dungeon entrance.

I’m l new to Diablo series but managed to pickup a few ancestral. When I’m playing alone I do helltides on WT3, farm enough then switch over to WT4 to trade them in.
Offensive aspects are offensive aspects. Even gloves can roll them if you like. The only difference between weapons is that two-handed weapons will double the value of your aspects so say you have a 15% roll out of a 10-20% range aspect and you imprint that on a crossbow or speas then it will show as 30% roll in a 20-40% range. Vice verse the same is true. You find a 2hander with the latter value and it will downgrade it to the former upon imprinting.
At what level do you unlock ancestral items from the gambler? I'm at tier 4 lvl 70 and I still don't see any ancestral in the gambler... only normal and sacred legendaries...
I'm EXTREMELY casual and have a question so I don't make a mistake I know I'll regret. I've researched forever and can't find anything about it. When you get an aspect from a dungeon and imprint it on an item, can you imprint that aspect on another item, or is that dungeon aspect used? I don't want to use an important one and waste it because I'll certainly change gear for better stats all the time. Like I said, VERY casual. On vacation right now, so I'm only like level 38 lol
Codex aspects (Those you get from dungeons) can be used as many times as you'd like, as it's always gonna be the lowest possible roll. Extracted aspects is a one time use.
When you complete a dungeon and unlock the aspect/affix/codex related to it, you can use that affix to imprint on an item an infinite number of times, with two important notes 1. Once you have imprinted that codex/affix onto a piece of gear, you cannot change that piece of gear in the sense that if you imprint it with codex A, you can't then imprint the same item with codex B 2. The codex effects can also be found randomly on items. It's important to note that there is a *range* in which the effect can drop - for example, if you have a codex/affix that increases crit damage by 5-15%, if you use the re-usable codex version, it will always be 5% - but, you may find a random piece of gear with the same perk on it but it 'rolled high' and is the full 15%. That's the drawback with the re-usable codex powers - you can add them to anything you want, as many times as you want, at the cost of having the 'lowest rolled' version of that perk each time. Hope that makes sense
I have found two, one of them was 1-4 resource and the other was 4-4. Lucked out huge. My problem is finding the smiting legendary, it's driving me nuts, I have an unreal ring waiting to be imprinted lol
Lvl 82 rogue here. Imo I just look for the stats that I want (vulnerability, crit dmg, cool down reduction energy reduction, dmg resis..etc). With that being said, I haven't seen any good daggers that have better stats than swords yet. Not saying that there aren't any, but swords seem to be the move for now.
@@davidsturm3546Attack Speed will massively increase your damage output, specially for Melee rogue. Gloves can roll with attack speed and I believe max roll and upgraded goes up to +15% AS. Crazy powerful, far better than the pitiful increase you get from any of the + to X kind of damage.

You shouldn't be target farming with helltides, the mysterious chest is so much better than any of the other ones that it should be the only one you open. You can generally get between 2-4 of them depending on what time the event starts. There's really no reason to open any other kind of chest when you get more items from the mysterious chest AND you get tons of lost souls.
Yes but much slower and you can't really target as well with them. Helltide doesn't tell you what exactly the chest contains on the map, so you have to walk up to every chest first, and the whispers are pretty slow and then you only get a very small selection of choices and like half the items in the cache are gonna be random anyways.
@@Failzz8 Yea that last bit is probably its biggest weakness... It seems to only guarantee 1 item of its class making it so incredibly bad for item targeting that it should probably be closer to 12.5 cinders cost than 125 for one handed weapons.
I swear, they nerfed legendary drop rates out of chest in helltides. aside from the mystery chests. i was getting a legendary 9/10 times before i was in the 70's. now...i'm lucky if i get 2 or 1/10 times. of course, this could just be super bad RNG for me. hard to tell. i also have not seen a unique drop since level 45-50ish. i'm level 73 currently. kinda disheartening.

It's there, but super rare. Level 80 Rogue, I have found 3 rings with it, two with +1 (same as codex), one with +2, which I am using, but not working too well.
Yes. Ancestral can't drop in Sacred. Sacred can't drop on Legendary (at Lower tiers) If the item isn't available at the level you want you can come back at a later time (I think when other vendors reset) Some aspects scale off the item power (like the protector) so it's worth getting high as possible roles on the extracted items.
Ancestral items unlock at the obols vendor at level 73 , you will only get sacred and normal before that.

There is no problem of geting legendaries, but I have a big problem with managing my stash space full of aspects and items for other possible builds.
I'm right there too, not nearly enough space 🌌 for everything I want to be able to keep

That’s why you gamble totems. Nothing but offensive aspects.

It’s very important to note you can redo the aspect on an already crafted item to min max. This means you should not delete near perfect aspects x

A 3rd thing to note, is that you can't even use the occultist until level 25 anyway, so gambling for aspects before then is useless.

Every full hour the vendors reset. That's when you wanna check again. Though do mind ancestral gamble does not spawn until lvl 73.
An item that is showing as Sacred/Ancestral at the gambler can give you a normal item, yes.

I have problems in finding ghostwalker aspect I know its in the codex but is there better version of this aspect?

53 for sacred and 73 for ancestral. This is how currently it is in the game.

One thing to note is that you don't get legendary ancestral drop on gambling unless you hit level 73.
just do T4 at level60 to get ancestral.

Is there any distinction for weapon specific offensive aspects? Been trying to find a rapid fire aspect while rolling daggers and still no luck yet
Offensive aspects are offensive aspects. Even gloves can roll them if you like. The only difference between weapons is that two-handed weapons will double the value of your aspects so say you have a 15% roll out of a 10-20% range aspect and you imprint that on a crossbow or speas then it will show as 30% roll in a 20-40% range. Vice verse the same is true. You find a 2hander with the latter value and it will downgrade it to the former upon imprinting.
If you are looking specifically for offensive aspects ALWAYS gamble gloves - cheapest option

At what level do you unlock ancestral items from the gambler? I'm at tier 4 lvl 70 and I still don't see any ancestral in the gambler... only normal and sacred legendaries...

I'm EXTREMELY casual and have a question so I don't make a mistake I know I'll regret. I've researched forever and can't find anything about it. When you get an aspect from a dungeon and imprint it on an item, can you imprint that aspect on another item, or is that dungeon aspect used? I don't want to use an important one and waste it because I'll certainly change gear for better stats all the time. Like I said, VERY casual. On vacation right now, so I'm only like level 38 lol
You can repeatedly use the dungeon aspect over and over again, they arent consumed. Imprints extracted from dropped legendaries are consumed on use.
The ones you get from a dungeon (i.e. the ones in the codex of power) have unlimited uses, they're always the minimum roll though.
Codex aspects (Those you get from dungeons) can be used as many times as you'd like, as it's always gonna be the lowest possible roll. Extracted aspects is a one time use.
You can imprint dungeon version of aspects as many times as you want. Only aspect extracted from other legendries can be used just once.
When you complete a dungeon and unlock the aspect/affix/codex related to it, you can use that affix to imprint on an item an infinite number of times, with two important notes
1. Once you have imprinted that codex/affix onto a piece of gear, you cannot change that piece of gear in the sense that if you imprint it with codex A, you can't then imprint the same item with codex B
2. The codex effects can also be found randomly on items. It's important to note that there is a *range* in which the effect can drop - for example, if you have a codex/affix that increases crit damage by 5-15%, if you use the re-usable codex version, it will always be 5% - but, you may find a random piece of gear with the same perk on it but it 'rolled high' and is the full 15%. That's the drawback with the re-usable codex powers - you can add them to anything you want, as many times as you want, at the cost of having the 'lowest rolled' version of that perk each time.

I have found two, one of them was 1-4 resource and the other was 4-4. Lucked out huge.

So swords are better then Daggers for Rogues? Or should I just look for the Stats? Anybody who can help me?
Lvl 82 rogue here. Imo I just look for the stats that I want (vulnerability, crit dmg, cool down reduction energy reduction, dmg resis..etc). With that being said, I haven't seen any good daggers that have better stats than swords yet. Not saying that there aren't any, but swords seem to be the move for now.

@@davidsturm3546Attack Speed will massively increase your damage output, specially for Melee rogue. Gloves can roll with attack speed and I believe max roll and upgraded goes up to +15% AS.
Crazy powerful, far better than the pitiful increase you get from any of the + to X kind of damage.

You CANNOT get uniques from the vendor so if you are trying to target a specific piece with obols just stop.

What about the tree of whispers and helltides? Don't those both also give cache/chest choices that focus on an item type?
You shouldn't be target farming with helltides, the mysterious chest is so much better than any of the other ones that it should be the only one you open. You can generally get between 2-4 of them depending on what time the event starts. There's really no reason to open any other kind of chest when you get more items from the mysterious chest AND you get tons of lost souls.
Yes but much slower and you can't really target as well with them. Helltide doesn't tell you what exactly the chest contains on the map, so you have to walk up to every chest first, and the whispers are pretty slow and then you only get a very small selection of choices and like half the items in the cache are gonna be random anyways.
@@Failzz8 Yea that last bit is probably its biggest weakness... It seems to only guarantee 1 item of its class making it so incredibly bad for item targeting that it should probably be closer to 12.5 cinders cost than 125 for one handed weapons.
I saw a video that the aspect that you get from the dungeon lvl up as you lvl as well you just have to reapply it.

I swear, they nerfed legendary drop rates out of chest in helltides. aside from the mystery chests. i was getting a legendary 9/10 times before i was in the 70's. now...i'm lucky if i get 2 or 1/10 times. of course, this could just be super bad RNG for me. hard to tell. i also have not seen a unique drop since level 45-50ish. i'm level 73 currently. kinda disheartening.
I've gotten 5...the same Amulet 4 times all in sacred (sure, it's good and I'm using one but FFS) and then another Mother's Ring, which is dogwater.

It's there, but super rare. Level 80 Rogue, I have found 3 rings with it, two with +1 (same as codex), one with +2, which I am using, but not working too well.

No with levels. You unlock ancestral when you hit 73
Yes. Ancestral can't drop in Sacred. Sacred can't drop on Legendary (at Lower tiers)
If the item isn't available at the level you want you can come back at a later time (I think when other vendors reset)
Some aspects scale off the item power (like the protector) so it's worth getting high as possible roles on the extracted items.
