My 5 year old tyres are now too old and need replacing. Here’s how to check your tyre’s age.

Even though there’s still loads of tread left on my General Grabber Red Letters, as they’re now over 5 years old, they need replacing.
To check how old your tyres are, look for the 4 digit number after the DOT stamp - it goes by week of manufacture and year. My Grabbers are 0816 - so they were made in the 8th week of 2016. So there.
