For example, he used the penance stare with Punisher, and it didn't work, because Punisher only kill crimminals, not innocents. And the penance stare doesn't work with people that commited a crime meanwhile they were drunk or drugged. But Doomsday had kill innocents so the penance stare will work perfectly.
Even without Penance Stare he could wrap his chain around Doomsday, and hiss or fizz or whatever Ghost Rider does while dragging him all the way into Hell and then closing the portal. I feel like the majority of these have the issue of underestimating Doomsday or not understanding how his abilities work. If you hit him, he becomes tough enough to take the hit. If you use some other form of attack then he adapts to that form of attack. If you trap him he adapts to escape, as he has done with every form of containment that has been used against him thus far. Doomsdays power is simply to be unrelenting. He can't be stopped, only slowed down. Saying someone can 'beat' him, is far. He isn't invincible. But no one can beat him forever. He will keep coming until the opponent is dead and theres pretty much no way to be rid of him with any permanence. You never really explain why you think a character would be able to take down Doomsday, you just say what they can do and expect that its enough to bring him down.

In the Death of Superman anime from a year or two ago, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and Superman (A draw) were not able to overpower him. Wonder Woman and MM weren't obliterated though and Flash had him for a bit but became predictable enough for Doomsday to read his movements catch him and hit him. Would be fun to see Hulk vs DD.
Death of Superman, he focuses all his remaining solar energy stores and knocks out Doomsday. Superman can beat him. Flash, by the same theory presented via the Speed Force and running faster than light, yes. The Incredible Hulk, yes via a crossover but simply because the pain endured would send the Hulk beyond angry enough to destroy a planet. Silver Surfer, yes via crossover and his ability to control The Power Cosmic, but only after suffering through a harsh fight like the Hulk. Sentry, no, simply because the fight would devolve into "deaths" for Doomsday and the inherent ability to resist forms of damage would end up being Sentry's doom. Martian Manhunter, no, because while powerful, he is nowhere on par with Superman fully charged on solar energy. Manhunter would also tire as Doomsday does not and would be caught by a vicious punch and possibly instantly slain by the force of it alone. If not, then his bones on his hand would gash and poison him so horribly that he would fall and die. Wonder Woman, no because while super impervious, she is not on par with Supermans invulnerability and Doomsday would kill her because of it. Atom, no because even Superman can beat him via shear strength, and thus, Doomsday would kill Atom. However, the resulting blast from Atoms death, in all theory of assuming he has absorbed tons of energy, could possibly vaporize Doomsday and lead to Doomsday being permanently destroyed as not even a blood drip would be left. This brings me to those that can Kill Doomsday. Superman, if pushed far enough, could release all solar stores of energy and vaporize Doomsday in his entirety with Heat Vision. The Incredible Hulk if pushed beyond insane madness and rage and survive long enough to do so, could hit Doomsday with a single punch and it would vaporize him completely whilst sending a destructive and annihilating shockwave for theoretically the lengths of entire galaxies. The Silver Surfer could theoretically kill Doomsday with The Power Cosmic via focusing so much energy and his own oneness with the cosmos, that he could destroy Doomsday down to the subatomic level, thus leaving nothing of him to regenerate. The Surfer doing so could technically put himself out of energy to the point he will be useless for a long time or even kill himself and possibly many star systems in the process. Doctor Strange can both beat and kill Doomsday. However, killing would either be Time magic to either reverse his creation right before Strange or prevent his creation entirely via crossover. Other Magic that would work would be using Mental Control to convince Doomsday to will himself to cease to live which would be the end of Doomsday entirely. Here is the problem with Doctor Strange, he prefers imprisonment to killing as he does cherish life. Thor could not beat him simply because nothing short of a God blast will work as a mindless Hulk will annihilate Thor, which is basically what Doomsdays power level is to begin with just to compete at Supermans nearly cosmic scale of powers and invulnerabilities. Thor could in theory destroy Doomsday with a God blast but only at the cost of rendering himself unconscious or barely alive whilst destroying whatever realm or planet or dimension he is fighting Doomsday in. I feel like the majority of these have the issue of underestimating Doomsday or not understanding how his abilities work. If you hit him, he becomes tough enough to take the hit. If you use some other form of attack then he adapts to that form of attack. If you trap him he adapts to escape, as he has done with every form of containment that has been used against him thus far.
Doomsdays power is simply to be unrelenting. He can't be stopped, only slowed down. Saying someone can 'beat' him, is far. He isn't invincible. But no one can beat him forever. He will keep coming until the opponent is dead and theres pretty much no way to be rid of him with any permanence.
You never really explain why you think a character would be able to take down Doomsday, you just say what they can do and expect that its enough to bring him down.

In the Death of Superman anime from a year or two ago, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and Superman (A draw) were not able to overpower him. Wonder Woman and MM weren't obliterated though and Flash had him for a bit but became predictable enough for Doomsday to read his movements catch him and hit him. Would be fun to see Hulk vs DD.

Silver Surfer, yes via crossover and his ability to control The Power Cosmic, but only after suffering through a harsh fight like the Hulk. Sentry, no, simply because the fight would devolve into "deaths" for Doomsday and the inherent ability to resist forms of damage would end up being Sentry's doom. Martian Manhunter, no, because while powerful, he is nowhere on par with Superman fully charged on solar energy. Manhunter would also tire as Doomsday does not and would be caught by a vicious punch and possibly instantly slain by the force of it alone. If not, then his bones on his hand would gash and poison him so horribly that he would fall and die. Wonder Woman, no because while super impervious, she is not on par with Supermans invulnerability and Doomsday would kill her because of it. Atom, no because even Superman can beat him via shear strength, and thus, Doomsday would kill Atom. However, the resulting blast from Atoms death, in all theory of assuming he has absorbed tons of energy, could possibly vaporize Doomsday and lead to Doomsday being permanently destroyed as not even a blood drip would be left. This brings me to those that can Kill Doomsday. Superman, if pushed far enough, could release all solar stores of energy and vaporize Doomsday in his entirety with Heat Vision. The Incredible Hulk if pushed beyond insane madness and rage and survive long enough to do so, could hit Doomsday with a single punch and it would vaporize him completely whilst sending a destructive and annihilating shockwave for theoretically the lengths of entire galaxies. The Silver Surfer could theoretically kill Doomsday with The Power Cosmic via focusing so much energy and his own oneness with the cosmos, that he could destroy Doomsday down to the subatomic level, thus leaving nothing of him to regenerate. The Surfer doing so could technically put himself out of energy to the point he will be useless for a long time or even kill himself and possibly many star systems in the process. Doctor Strange can both beat and kill Doomsday. However, killing would either be Time magic to either reverse his creation right before Strange or prevent his creation entirely via crossover. Other Magic that would work would be using Mental Control to convince Doomsday to will himself to cease to live which would be the end of Doomsday entirely. Here is the problem with Doctor Strange, he prefers imprisonment to killing as he does cherish life. Thor could not beat him simply because nothing short of a God blast will work as a mindless Hulk will annihilate Thor, which is basically what Doomsdays power level is to begin with just to compete at Supermans nearly cosmic scale of powers and invulnerabilities. Thor could in theory destroy Doomsday with a God blast but only at the cost of rendering himself unconscious or barely alive whilst destroying whatever realm or planet or dimension he is fighting Doomsday in.
