Chuck could sing and play anything and it would still sound coolio. He deserves every single penny he earns. The alternative orchestral arrangements worked great, especially on "He Came So Far Way (Red Man Speaks), Museum of Broken Hearts, Left Hand Right Hand (thought it was going to turn into 'Reggae' at one point with dat bass!) 'I felt LIke Jesus' 'Who Shot John? and 'No Other Love'. But I enjoyed the whole lot. Anyways, I'm off to bandcamp to download this which will give Chuck a few more pennies whilst he's in enforced isolation (with some dodgy apples) due to the obvious. Every fan of his should do the same if they can. This pandemic will cost Chuck and his record label, Yep Roc, a shit load of lost revenue and I would hate a musical world where Chuck isn't part of it anymore. We all need to help one of the most talented guitar players there has ever been in order to keep those six strings of his ....r i n g i n g
Mays played in the National League (NL) between 1951 and 1973 for the New York/San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. Mays is the oldest living member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Sitting here looking out the window at the blue gum trees, sun on the creek and listening to this.Transported away from "that virus" into bliss and happiness.Thank you Chuck. Magic!!
Thanks for posting this unique show, Chuck! Wait impatiently for your new (already ordered) CD greetings from Belgium , The Land That Time Forgot ... I mean Corona forgot for 65 minutes thanks to this fantastic performance Marc Pathé
Thanks Sarah! You and Rebecca were my favorite string players to cut to, always smiling and grooving to the music. What everyone did with only a few hours of rehearsal together really blew me away! Very happy that we finally released this wonderful performance. Darrell
Superb ! With just an acoustic guitar or a full strings section these songs sound wonderfull ! What a great songwriter you are M. Prophet ;) I can’t wait for the new LP in may. All the best to you and the Mission Express.
Brilliant, thanks. Saw you onstage when you toured for the album, @ Bukowski's, San Sebastian. Going onstage through the ''crowd'' you stopped and talked for a minute with my wife and I, we mentioned Roy ...
@@chuckprophet1282 Niiiice ! I remember you talked a lot about surf between songs, now that we're confined and cannot surf in France or Spain (or elsewhere...) time spent watching this video is priceless, thanx again, so much.
Great discovering you. You helped me relive my 1978-1995 San Francisco years. San Francisco 2.0 is not where its at.. but you are

On board. Beautiful idea GFL.
Brilliant, just brilliant. Smiled for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Wishing all the best to everyone from Scotland, the land of no toilet paper or pasta.
LOL. No TP should be no problem for a rugged Scotsman. No pasta, that's a different story!
Ain’t music just beyond great..?!✌🏼❤️

Just what I needed. We're on light lock down...Remember seeing the tour and buying my wife the pink shirt. Who knew that would be a "simpler time?"

If there is any sort of silver lining to this chaotic, screwball of a mess we are in, it is stuff like this seeing the light of day. Goddamn great.
