Same, man. I was 12 at the time and cried for the first time because of a football game. Couldn't wait to get on the bus and flex on my friends at school the next morning. We didn't get cable TV until a year later so the only time I got to watch full Barca games was on champions league nights. For 2-3 years straight before that the only time I got see them was on a weekly highlights show that focused on La Liga. What a time to grow up it was.
As a Barca fan I always felt we got very luck in this match, Lethman had gone 900 minutes without conceding in the CL and was an absolute monster that season, He would have stopped both our goals had he been in goal. The red was really early and forced Pires to be replaced by Almunia, had the goal, we got a much bigger advantage than 1-0.

John Dough Barcelona didn't actually have that many chances to score that game. There was eto hitting the post and the 2 goals they scored. I remember the game very well, Almunia didn't make any tough saves. Arsenal created more chances and Valdes made a bunch of huge saves, Almunia did nothing definitely talking out of your ass.

He also admitted that he was doing more defending than normal so he, "did not have the legs" when he did get into some of those 1v1 situations. He did play his heart out, I respect that it was not enough but he did give what he had.
