- In this video I walk along the Bridgewater canal from Castlefield to Worsley.
I discuss the history of the canal and the 3rd duke of Bridgwater.
Along it's route I pass the island of Pomona, travel through Trafford park( Europe's largest industrial estate), I pass old Trafford home to Manchester United, the Trafford centre, barton swing aqueduct ( the world's only swing aqueduct) the remains of the original barton aqueduct then finally visit Worsley village which includes Worsley delph.
tee hee very reluctantly showing Old Trafford there. If that were City, we'd have had 20 Geekyfacts, but no, "Let's crack on!" . Top video sir I am very much enjoying
@ReetBoaTellThee, haha . Thanks buddy
Looks like a nice walk. Some interesting facts. Keep up the good work

I remember the opening of The Trafford Centre! Not sure if me and my parents went on the night, but certainly close.
@ReetBoaTellThee, not been inside for a long time myself mate. Happy it bought back memories from your time living in Manchester
See how the ol' girl held up
